Basically some people take both As and A2 together so it's a levels and for then it's 30 percent but for the people taking As and A2 separate like for As it's 60 percent

You have to give 2 exams for As
One is P1 and you have to choose from M1/S1
If you choose M1 then S1 will be in A2 if you do S1 then you will have option from S2/M1

It is always recommended to physics students to study M1 at As because As PHY syllabus is similar to M1 which help both subjects rest is up to students which one they choose or school normally offer
