I assume you mean “Computer Science and Engineering” by CSE. In that case why is CS useless LMAO. Not only is it going to build you a good foundation earlier, this will naturally help you understand better in Uni.

Most of the CS degrees are quite similar with around 70-80% syllabus being essentially the same. Even in electrical engineering you learn somewhat CS [As far as I’m aware of].

I didn’t do it privately, however I’m sure you can do it on your own. But I would highly recommend either asking a certain institution/school for help for a few weeks or two

So just before your actual exams, after you have studied through the paper part of the practical exam, you should go to a certain institution for help, at least for around 1-2 weeks, where you totally focus on different practicals.

This will only get you familiar with the environment and generally be beneficial for any person, no matter how slow they learn.

I wouldn’t recommend just watching videos online and studying the practical exam through paper alone, you should at least have the physical understanding of how to physically handle instruments

A certain person could get a good grade without actually practically doing a practical, but I wouldn’t use this for everyone, especially when I’m not aware of your capabilities and past performances. So in a summary:

Study one your own initially however, a certain duration before the actual exams, you should contact a school/institution, which should assist you with different equipments required for performing experiments

[You can join the institution through the assistance of a friend, or paying them a certain amount]

Note: P3 (Physics Practical) only account for about 11.5% of your total A level result [Or 23% if you’re only giving AS], so the final decision is for you to take. If rather you do want to go to these lengths to effect that 11.5% of your result.

Alright so, here are a few things which you could use:

1) Prosperity Academy (YouTube Channel): I did read what you said about not preferring video based content and I assume you don’t prefer due to a few reasons which may be valid, however, don’t let that blind you from this man. He is actually ”him”, you should check him out. I haven’t seen anyone as close to him, neither in chemistry, mathematics or etc. He starts from the very basics and builds the topic on it. He also goes sometimes out of syllabus to get your a better grasp on the topic, which is usually what books do. He also has notes and they are in English.

2) Save My exams: I used it for AS, but didn’t use it for A2. The reason behind it wasn’t because it didn’t provide value, but due to some other personal reason. I would highly recommended you looking at it for notes, they are also somewhat detailed.

3) Book: Self-explanatory, I’m not sure how good the A level book would be, but reading through a topic which has been expanded upon a range of 6-18 pages would be beneficial for you to cement your memory about a certain topics existence.

4) Z-Notes: This is basically for last minute revision, but sometimes it may contain extra information, so it’s better you also go through it early.

5) Past Papers: Self-Explanatory, but I wouldn’t recommend over doing it. The amount you need to seek for is the amount where you begin to understand the structure of how questions are asked.

I do Drama History and Literature (english) and i plan to study music so I've started transcribing solos and songs onto sheet music

the reason I ask is, whenever I search up "is an ipad worth it for AS" all that comes up is STEM students. I personally also enjoy the pen and paper writing experience but I'm not a fan of the binder experience, and I'm on paper a fan of having everything I need on one little device

so, is it worth it? this is not gonna affect my attempt to get all A's btw

8 months is 1 academic year
People typically take AS and A-levels math during their first year (year 12)
Then take AS and A-levels further maths during their second year (year 13)
So you're pretty much good
