Physics P3 does anyone know what Evidence of repeated timings. Must see nT repeated where n ⩾ 5 means.? Does it mean I have to repeat the timing 5 times, or I have to stop the stopwatch when the number of oscillation is 5, and do that multiple times? TIA, exam is in 2 days

evidence of repeated readings is basically for oscillations time period T or for measuring an angle, the time you measure must be for 5 oscillations or more and you repeat 2 or 3 times, then take an average of all your readings then if you did for 5 osc, divide that average by 5 to get T

Physics P3, the first question is always a graph plot requiring six sets of values. The first parts (a) makes me measure something once, and i have to draw the table at (b), do i include the first value i got in (a) in the table at (b) as part as one of the six sets. If so, the ms also states that the order I am measuring must have a correct order, where the value i measure increases. for example the value i got at (a) was 40, and the range of the value at (b) is 10-60, do i place 40 at the beginning and then start, or place 40 after a reading of 30. TIA

Yesterday I saw a Pakistani teacher on YouTube explain that big-small/average *100 is incorrect and it's {(biggest-smallest)/2}/average x 100. Can anyone confirm. I joined the other channels but I'm asking here since the reply is here

yea i asked and that is wrong with the half range, if ur refering to that 2 values of k question. that half range formula is used to calculate % uncertainty if a person did more than one reading

before the improvements and limitations

we usually find two values of k

then simply find % difference between the 2 values of k and if you took maths in igcse or o levels you were taught how to find % difference .. if u dont know i'll tell you, minus the 2 values of k to get difference, find mean of the 2 values of k, do difference/mean , then multiply by 100 and if ur ans comes out greater than 15% then you write ur ans "no, my results do not support the suggested relationship because the % difference b/w my values of k is greater than 15%"

just do it according to how large ur Kmax and Kmin values are
