Can anyone explain how the overall grade works in AS? For instance, do I need an A in all papers for an overall A?

open grade thresholds for your subject and its usually out of total marks, like 80/130 for A in physics (suppose) and like if you get 35 in p1, 54 in p2 which is already 89 and say you just passed practical (11/30) still gonna get an A hope it makes sense

I'm an AS student sitting my exams in May/June 2024. I'm concerned about the lack of sufficient practical experience for chemistry, biology, and physics. While we've tackled only 2-4 chemistry and physics practical questions, which feels inadequate, we haven't done any biology practicals at all. With my lecturer on medical leave for surgery until February 6th, I fear we might miss out on crucial hands-on learning in biology and the necessary confidence in physics and chemistry before the CAIE exams, potentially impacting my grades.

But on like part 4 or 5, the question will involve another topic like functions or differentiation. Should I skip those and only focus on the quadratic questions only

From what I've heard, the percentage next to your grade means how you did against others. So if you got an 80% it means you did 80% better than everybody else who took the test? And yes, it's after grade boundaries. We don't actually know the raw marks.
