I'm currently sitting for my O Level examinations, conducted by the British Council. My exam venue is at the Radisson Blu, and during one of the exams, I made a serious mistake that I now deeply regret.

Before the exam, I hid a handwritten note of about 10–11 pages in the washroom area, which is approximately a 20-second walk from the exam hall. I observed that there was no staff presence in that area at the time. During the exam, I requested to go to the washroom and, while there, I referred to the notes I had hidden.

After the exam ended, I went back to retrieve the notes, but they were no longer there. I don’t know whether British Council officials discovered them or if hotel staff came across them. While I had already submitted my paper, and no one personally identified me during the incident, I am uncertain if the area was under CCTV surveillance.

This entire situation has left me anxious about the possibility of disqualification. I now understand the seriousness of my actions and the breach of integrity they represent. Regardless of what happens, I accept the consequences and hope to learn from this experience so that I never repeat such a mistake again.
