This show looks AMAZING so far. Looks completely independent and not reliant on cameos/animated characters coming into live-action, although I'm always down for that. Also hoping to see some Temuera Morrison as some clone troopers since they seem to be getting phased out, similar timeline to the bad batch i would guess

i had to passionately defend rogue one as the best piece of star wars content to my roommates. i've learned they're really just into lightsabers rather than the lore/story of the overall galaxy hahaha

Rogue one is one of the best star wars films of all time imo, so good

lightsabers are hella cool though, can't fault them for that hahah

but yeah, been following the story for a long time, there is still so much they can do with it, george lucas is a legend

Its honestly crazy to me that they ve managed to make amazing TV shows and shitty movies with a franchise like star wars when most of the time its usually the other way around!

Yeah probably! Also the fact that people spend more time and money going to the cinema so there is less margin for error

i'm not in the film industry at all but i feel like there's a lot more interference in movies since so much money is spent on them and the studios want to make their money back. and execs are often completely out of touch with their fanbases and have no idea what they really want and will just force bullshit in there that ruins it

Saw the first two episodes and I think it's great so far! Feels very different but way "bigger" than any star wars show i've ever seen

I thought the first episode was like a 6 but it really picked up steam quick. 3rd was awesome

If it follows anything like the previous shows, I already can expect the final episodes to have a crazy plot with how the beginning is

Rewatched 1-3 again and I'm enamored with this show. I love the themes and how real it feels. So excited that we get so many episodes!
