Tavern disappearing

I’m playing the latest Life in the village 3, single player, with no added mods. My tavern block placed, but then disappeared and my builder is showing no tasks / the block is gone but left a fence. Fence disappeared too but won’t let me place another tavern. I dug to see if it’s underground but didn’t find anything. Any idea how to fix this? I could make a new game but I’m worried it’ll just disappear again.

So far the supply camp and builders hut seem to be working okay, those are the only ones I’ve done so far

I went into creative again and was able to place the tavern! Hopefully it builds normally this time

Still doesn’t place in survival but this works at least
