I am unsure if this or similar systems are planned anyways but I think it'd be nice to have an optional difficulty setting for a game over/mission failure to be triggered by CO2, O2, or cabin/suit pressure being outside of acceptable ranges for too long. gameovers from excessive collision speed, excessive temperatures, or exceeeding G limits could also be added as optional difficulty settings.
