Kind of like how you can display the attitude data above the ball on Gemini?
Yes, but doing that for every gauge would make the screen super-crowded, hence the suggestion of only doing it on mouseover
There's no reason for needing that precision outside of dev testing
The specific reason I thought of it was during a MOCR run the telemetry was showing a constant current of 0.14A on BAT A & B, and I had no idea if that was normal (or any way to experiment with it) because that's too small to be visible on the analogue cockpit gauges. 🤷🏻♂️
Well that's because they're not reading off a gauge, they're reading the exact value directly via the telemetry. The astronauts didn't have a mouse cursor to show the exact value for them
I'm aware of that. Thats why I suggested it could be an option, like turning on the display of the exact attitude values when you're flying a Mercury capsule. Which the Mercury astronauts couldn't do either.
