@dark steeple could you upload the log-file as a text-file?
@dark steeple Could you upload the Storage.rsf file from the System subfolder?
Strange, it looks intact to me
ive tried many things, ive reinstalled it many times, ive run the .exe file as administrator, ive verified the game files integrity, and ive even reset my computer.
Try renaming the Storage.rsf file
i renamed it, but now it took longer to close
and also every time i open the game, it just creates a new storage file
Yeah the storage-file is your progress and settings
what do i if the renaming didnt work
I'd say wait to see if Petri can find a bug doing this or something
alr
Hi!
The game.rsf might have gotten corrupt.
Can you do the following:
- On Steam, disable Cloud Save on the game
- delete the game.rsf file
- launch the game to regenerate it
- enable Cloud Save for the game (if you desire)
Checked the file, doesn't look corrupt to me
Could you share game.rsf?
Is that basically a backup of Storage.rsf?
storage.rsf is deprecated, and game.rsf is the one being used.
ah
storage.rsf if used to generate a new game.rsf file, if the game launches and detects that storage.rsf exists. It will run the migration to game.rsf based on this file.
if the game launches without finding either file (normal for new players), the game.rsf file will be generated
thank you for the help, this worked and now my game has been fixed
Gave +1 flight-hours to @misty arch (current: #3 - 370)
Woho! I'm so happy, thanks for the help, this issue has been on my mind for a bit.
Is the switchover basically just to go away from the encrypted storage or?
I'm having this same issue, but apparently I'm way more ignorant as I cannot fine the storage.rsf or the game.rsf files. I've searched the entire Reentry folder. It's also not clear to me that if/when I find these files, do I delete them?
