#accelerometer does not work after transitioning SOIs

I see this is an old thread, but this bug is still present. Another thread noted it in campaign IV, but it is more than that. I have it happen any time I make the trip back from the moon and go to entry within a single session (no save state). If I load from a save state closer to earth, the g meter works. I haven't done specific testing related to changing SOI within a session, but it seems logical given what I am seeing.
It actually ruined my "One Giant Leap" run because I died during re-entry without the g meter (wasn't proficient with just g-V scroll yet).
Hi! Yeah, will need to check, I have done some full missions from pad to entry lately and not yet been able to reproduce this issue. But will keep looking for the potential cause for this. It is strange that the G-meter fails but the scroll works as they use similar logic to present the data.
Hello! Thanks for the reply. I will break out my actual test pilot skills and be more diligent in my note taking. I will also try some different things and relay what I find. Let me know if there is anything you want me to try. My initial thought was whether it was a “power” or “ECS” issue that was causing the gauge not to work.
