out of curiosity, what would be the purpose of this, all the components in the spacecraft are in imperial units

#

just for personal "oh thats how far it is" kind of comparisons?

yeah just for personal refence

ah that makes sense

#

I think it would be a good addition

#

especially for people who aren't as familiar with imperial units

Internally the AGC uses metric, it's displayed as imperial for convenience, also I would be extremely opposed to displaying metric on the DSKY additionally mission documents use imperial as well meaning if you do something off them you'd have to do the conversion anyway.

#

Besides windows literally has the conversion tools in the calculator

Which in all honesty seems like a pretty simple thing to add and would give a sense of scale for people who aren't used to imperial

#

Though I might be misinterpreting

It's not necessary though, windows literally has one built-in

Not always easy to tab out tbf

#

I won't argue though

Besides you get a sense of the scale of things pretty quickly. And I don't wanna be an asshole but not being assed to alt tab to use the calculator quickly is just lazy
