Reentry uses the following log-files: Player.log, Player-prev.log
These are stored in:
Steam (Windows): %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Wilhelmsen Studios\ReEntry
Microsoft Store (Windows): %appdata%\..\Local\Packages\37806WilhelmsenStudios.ReEntry-AnOrbitalSimulator_akeytc0kfv8xy\
If you cannot see the AppData folder, tick the ‘hidden items’ option in the file explorer
@copper dune do you see a log?
Hey! Yeah, getting the log would be great!
Also, what are your specs?
@serene iron looks to me like a low-level crash, no clear output from the log indicating what happened
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9600KF CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz
Direct3D:
Version: Direct3D 11.0 [level 11.1]
Renderer: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (ID=0x2182)
Vendor: NVIDIA
VRAM: 5979 MB
Driver: 31.0.15.3623
From that log it seems you are able to enter the Main Menu, and also load the Apollo Campaing?
yeah, seems like a Unity crash level report
Thinking VRAM or?
I tested each mode and this error appeared in each of them after some time
Could you go to settings and check what earth it's set to?
okay
My initial dev PC was a 1080, and I made the Low-Earth settings to fit that spec
I can't find it in the settings
if you go to MAIN MENU, then press SETTINGS, the scroll down on the main settings page (not graphics)
then Earth Textures
You can also try to set the texture quality to half
I can set only High or low
@serene iron maybe you should add a bit to the main menu where it dumps the settings to log?
yeah
it was set to low all the time
and the earth-setting?
In Graphics, then Texture Quality, can you try to set it to a half?
these were the earth settings
Its half
I will try
perfect
and can I ask, a good friend of mine is named Karol, he is from Poland, what about you?
Yes me too
nice 🙂
