what does step 2, FL V04 N46 mean? should I key V04 and V46 and not enter?

cerulean dew
#

It means you should have a flashing display of V04 N46 come up automatically

#

Typically after you press PRO or something

rapid ledge
#

or flight level

cerulean dew
#

no

#

that's definitely not what it means in this context

copper hemlock
#

It can mean flight level in a aviation context

cerulean dew
#

ahh okay

#

but yeah not in this context

copper hemlock
#

Yeah

cerulean dew
#

and probably not in any context in ReEntry

copper hemlock
#

Yeah

#

Maybe MOCR can clear us to a flight level, haha

If you ever have questions related to the AGC, I am happy to try and help, I've studied and learned a lot from Mike Stewart, and I can also link real flight documents. Though of course, ReEntry is not necessarily totally accurate in these regards so defer to the in-game checklists

Even with the Shuttle they didn’t clear it to a certain Flight Level

V04 : display a 2 word octal register
N46 : DAP configuration (2 octal words)

#

Flashing is handled by Dsky and means it is awaiting user input. After that it should cease Flashing, and you can pro.

cerulean dew
#

it actually won't stop flashing on its own

#

well, I guess the flashing will stop if you enter new data with V24

#

but you can PRO without entering data, while it's still flashing
