RESOLVED in 1.0.6
The mouse cursor stays onscreen at all times on the Steam Deck despite being in Gamepad control mode.

My cursor is hidden when using gamepad. I am not using a Steam Deck though so maybe thats the issue. Did you change settings to gamepad and select the gamepad youre using?

Yes, it could be a Linux client / Steam Deck specific thing then.

The cursor is visible directly under the character despite using the gamepad controls. I can move it if I hold the STEAM button and use the right track pad.

I am using the official gamepad layout for Dungeon Drafters which emulates standard Xbox-style controls, and I have Gamepad mode set in-game

Yea it seems to be an affecting Steam Deck only. I just tested and once i start up the game on PC and steam recognizes that a gamepad is connected you then see the cursor disappear. Is it possible for you to drag the cursor to the top corner or does the cursor cause issues in game?

I can move it over to the edge of the screen. It's still present but it's out of the way at least
