As an ops 39 I would have gotten more uc from event rewards had they been normal rather than these tokens

True. But before they pulled the packs to "fix" them there were 4 rares, now there are 2. I need 170 more rare ore to upgrade my Bortas' main gun, so initially I was happy as I would get enough from less than 50 packs. After the "fix" I would be able to get only 100 even if I take all 50 ore packs, and it will not be enough anyway. I will gamble with going up during the arc and will see if it increases the rewards in packs - if it does and I can get 150 rares from 50 packs it is still worse than it was, but it would make the upgrade possible this month. If it does not, I will just have to stay on lvl 30/31 a month longer 🤷‍♀️

At ops 40 you should have at least a 3-4mil ship and the officers to take out a 6-7mil mission hostile

the ship pays for itself with jelly brawl. If you need an early boost in 40-42 it's ok to get the jelly to t4 or so. Doesn't cost that much. Everything else should go into valdore though

Why can't they just label their events properly? Just vaguely call it "lucrative space", and leave the specifics in the fine print. Last time they did this, they got a lot of backlash and quietly changed the description a couple of hours later, by which time most of the miners in G3 lucrative space were blown up. Also, I am offended they call that system "lucrative" the nodes mine at exactly the same rate. there is nothing lucrative about them.

This isn't the first time they did this. Go back a few months to the Faction Miner PVP event. Same thing. They buried the information in the description, at the bottom so you'd have to scroll to find it. We had several players hit ships in lucrative g3 space causing a few wars in the process, because seriously, most players don't scroll through the descriptions as 9/10 it's poorly written mindless drivel. a couple of hours later they quietly went back into it and pulled out all instances of "lucrative". They know what they're doing, conflict breeds spending. They have no problem getting these tabs labelled right when it's just a regular non-survey pvp event.

They've technically already made one change. The system at the bottom of that description is now highlighted in yellow. it was plain text before. Still have to scroll to find it, and no changes to the tabs

exactly. it's purposefully vague. A lot of servers I talk to have lucrative g3 space as protected because of token scarcity. Players fly in there thinking it's "event based" when it isn't. It has literally always been off balance, at any point in the game a 4 level difference tends to give access to a ship for a player to one shot you with, so a 34 can one shot a 30, 32/28, pretty much applies until 39 from there on I don't have experience with, but I will say, the levels there are ridiculous, pvp range is stupidly high to where you never stand a chance in combat
