So average epic away team mission is 3 days long. Daily away team missionngives 12x1hr speedups. So you would have needed to saved 5 days worth? Every battlepass arc since away teams has been released has had an away team event. Just need to plan ahead... like most of these events.

That’s not a winning strategy in this game, friend. This is a game of careful resource management. Events encourage us to save resources and only use them when the time is right. You can certainly spend everything you get every day if you want to but that is 100% not the way to win events.

Frankly I’m not sure why everyone doesn’t have a stockpile of away team speedups. There is no benefit to speeding up an away team under normal circumstances.

Those who simply don’t engage with the away team feature are another story.

But at the end of the day, it’s a little bit like someone saying that they hate the refinery so they don’t use it, and are then angry when Scopely runs a bonus refinery event but they have no rss to refine.

Dudes, it's pretty simple: Read the event schedule when it's released.
You can see when which events starts. When you see "Oh, in three days there will be an event about it" you should think "maybe I collect my ATs when the event starts".
There is no need to use speedups at all, when you play smart 😉

However. Players should always be aware of the content around their ops when choosing to progress to higher ops. Vidar unlocks at 25 but grace period is to 27. At 28, events require it. Same for franklin.

I wasn't a huge fan of Turf Wars, whale alliances dropping, taking, dropping, retaking, etc, then said whale alliances complaining when my alliance effectively ganged up on them during our defence of our one and only territory (under terms of server RoE which permitted as such). Somehow my alliance survived the Turf Wars event still holding a territory, though not entirely off our own steam.

I am not looking forward to this event running over Christmas. My alliance defend our territory on Boxing Day. As an Admiral the last thing I want to do on this game on Boxing Day is marshal my alliance members onto capture nodes while simultaneously communicating with other alliance admirals/commodores and all while my kids are likely to be demanding my attention more than ever. Scopely really needs to rethink the second running of Turf Wars, imo, either bring it forward to before Xmas or do away with it. It's a quality of life thing - over Xmas I'd prefer to have less to do and I say that from the perspective of being an admiral and ultimately a player who wants to enjoy the game, not spend all their free time on it.

Well. For one. It’s a mechanic of the game that has ramifications for officer recruiting, event play, and even core events on Sunday’s. However. You’re proof positive that the ship is a choice. BUT like this event, you suffer a loss when you choose to bypass content. You don’t HAVE to. But you miss events. It’s interesting you mention this event when for a year disco has been offering recruit shards and speedups every week. But you weren’t worried about missing that one.

I think in general that it's the case on any server. You are much more likely to win leaderboards with focus at lower levels than you are higher up. At 34, even placing as a F2P is super difficult without a huge time sync or massive forward resource planning.

Back then it was the same but epic assignments were rewarded more pts. Now it's more equal. Rare are often 1-2d while epic are often 3-5d. Epic rewards 1200 pts and rare 600 pts so it's quite equal.

It's an slb anyway there are almost no rules when it comes to brackets. So you have to push for 39 if you want epic assignments :P

They were warned about this 👀 the 39 epic mechanic the rest of our bracket is prevented from,awards double points👀 they got no right being in our bracket, they effectively gave the 39s a loot box at our expense 🤷‍♂️

I admit its not unheard of for a lvl or two being in a flat spot for some events,from arc to arc in days gone past... but I've never seen an event angled such a way only toplvl in bracket allowed access to double & quadriple points awarded to everyone else in same bracket... that's either a snafu or fraudulent behaviour...& considering th size of $copely's legal dept. ..my money's on Billy from accounting not dotting his "i"'s & crossing his " t"'s giving the 39s their own private Idaho

I have an advantage over lvl 37s in my bracket for any events that score for hostiles. I can reach dark space and score more points than they can.

I gotta find 4 rares just to equal... it ain't unimaginable for a 39 to find 3 epics in 3 days.. if one crits i gotta find 8 rares to equal & wish one crits👀 all things being equal? Hostiles are for solo players. Armadas are for alliances because there's more activity than just 1. I'm thinking an I could be wrong, it's Scopely's way of encouraging People to work together instead of doing it on their own. Just my thoughts on that as far as the scoring is concerned

Have no idea how to vote on this thing so I just going to say it here I vote for 5 of 11 , most beneficial officer I’ve really seen in this game

As for events , I gotta say for all the events that were canceled and not to be coming back you need to either change everyone’s token stuff for those discontinued events or allow them to spend them. I personally have over 12.5m Tribble’s that I couldn’t spend due to the store always being closed when I tried before the event was over. It’s not the only tokens or event tickets I couldn’t spend that belong to events you decided to cancel. I actually enjoyed all the events and feel it’s a shame you chose to cancel some of them.

Also some days you tend to crowd with events and other days ther is virtually none. Bring back all the events and put them on random wheel for the whole week so you can have different events everyday.

Worm events. Stop it. No point in them, no subsequent beneficial gain by killing the hostiles, nothing to refine from their loot boxes/drops. Just a needless, waste of time to just get BP points. Stop it. Delete the systems or have the hostiles and armadas drop TOS recruit tusks.
