Im not sure the AMS changed for any alliance. Each milestone is the same reward as the one before and after it, up to 2m pts. It's the ALB that supposedly "scale", even though I haven't seen it

But to chime in. #1 in CoW ALB (which should be the driving factor for alliance based events) isn't even 4 ship repairs for me in Trit.

Always has been that way in between arcs (or as long as I can remember). They tweaked the rewards in an arc but you had 240 points more to score. Get 2-3 ships and start killing. You be amazed how fast it gets done.

Put PMC on one and the cadets on the other ship. Then don’t go for the highest PMC can do rather than the highest the cadets can do. I drop 3-4 points per kill but gain 10-12. and yes I am lucky: I can crew 3 ships pretty decently (could probably get a fourth but I don’t have a good enough fourth ship).

Uhura captain, McCoy and Kirk on the sides. You can even put Tlaan on the side and go for battleships.

First ship (not the strongest but needing it): PMC. Second ship cadet Uhura, McCoy and Tlaan. If you go against battleships put the weaker crew on your interceptor. He has an piercing advantage.

Never did swarms with multiple ships so I cannot tell you. But faction hunt is a good enough example of how to do lots of killings fast.

Looks like the backend timer for the daily goals hasn't been updated to match the frontend, it shows I've completed the away teams mission goal even though that was completed in the "gap hour" where neither set of daily goals was being shown. So that could also mean that if you wait till the last hour to complete a daily goal before reset it may not count towards the current day too

They did, the daily goals started 1 hour later than before (0500 UTC) today. So there was a gap hour when yesterday's goals had completed but today's hasn't started. Hence the current countdown in game which shows that they are going to reset at the original timing (0400 UTC) doesn't add up, since one would expect that if they started 1 hour later it should also end one hour later, i.e. everything shifted back by an hour.

Well unless you're measuring everything relative to DST/non-DST in which case I guess you can call it the same time? 🤷‍♂️

Dailies always used to start at 0400 UTC. UTC never change, UTC never go to "winter" or "summer time". So, I live in Europe and my time during the winter is the CET timezone, that is just a label for "UTC+1". So 0400 UTC is always 0500 CET. Always. In summer, we have summer time. That is the CEST timezone. CEST is defined as UTC+2, so 0400 UTC is always 0600 CEST.

What most systems do is to internally base all times on UTC, then when time is displayed just apply the offset from UTC based on the timezone you want to display. When you change to summer time, or daylight savings time, you don't set the time. Time is absolute and is in UTC. You just change timezone!

Scopely made problems for themselves when they wanted to map a 24 hour time period into this timezone switch, and they did something wrong. Would be easier if they just said that once a year, dailies/events are one hour shorter, or longer, and that's it ...

There have been players that complain about some getting a headstart on the event by filling up surveys beforehand. Honestly its not that big of a difference as long as we all have the same restrictions. Either nobody or everyone getting credit for early mining. Are there people that have gotten credit for the headstart?

No changes to how it is scored. But some mining nodes are scoring and some aren’t. For instance some of the g3 nodes didn’t score but I got full points from g4 gas, and judging by the opening scores many players got points for pulling their lucrative miners with 1m cargo (15m@points)

This isn’t the first time it’s happened in the last couple of months. I think the last time it was crystal a couple months ago.

Personally I don’t care about the mining issue. In the 39 bracket if you aren’t running 2-3 dvors all day, you have no chance of winning mining Monday. No amount of g3/g4 can make up the difference. But I do find it unacceptable that they run a station SLB that doesn’t properly capture station upgrade completions. That gun upgrade cost almost 700m parsteel and 14 days of speedups just to fizzle out.

Not sure if your server has a wider issue, but Guns have ALWAYS triggered points on my server. There is literally no point in engaging in a Station SLB or any other station specific event unless you have a defense platform or several to finish upgrading. Despite the first one not triggering, I have upgraded that gun 2 more times since and both registered points.

That's odd, and you probably glitched out. All buildings are buildings, and will generate points in a Station SLB or Daily Event. The guns just happen to provide exponentially more points than any other building. I've made a decent killing in station SLB's by holding gun upgrades until I needed them. If somehow I pull out a win on this one, it will be the 3rd SLB in a row I've won on the back of my guns.

The reality is that this arc run is a filler arc before the next major content like DS9 comes in. It looks to bring back the non-ladder events for our Borg guy hopefully so that will be nice again. This one is indeed weak on content at a glance, but I for one was expecting that until we get to the new stuff. You can see Scopely is piecemealing out like not adding the level 32 ship cloaks yet. And they highlight new frames every time like it's exciting. Hey, some people like that stuff, so that's cool for them too.

I agree access to badges is better than they used to be, but for my and my teammates (predominately battle pass only and free2play) the increased badge sourcing was offset by the significant increase in rare and epic officers needing badges over the past year.

The left hand robbed the right hand here so-to-speak so we are not any better overall and still value the badges in battlepass top track)

I am pretty sure that there is something wrong. We refine about 0.15 million of each resource each week if I have that correct. We only have 18 Players at 40+.

The advanced services need 430,000 of the various refined Iso alloys, so 977 single chest refines for an Ops 43 That works out as 93 chests per day.

If you do a full 3-pull of Iso refines on 2- and 3-diamond Iso, you will be able to pull 3 chests.

It therefore needs at least 46 L43 players going full tilt to sustain one advanced service activation. Or pulling more chests due to the Meridian skin, or being higher ops level.

Iso-alloy amounts are related to ops, so if you only had Ops 25 players, you'd need 81 people going full tilt to sustain it...

And, as Ops 50 players get a little more (500 per alloy refine instead of 440 for Ops 43), they'd only need 41 people.

Yeah on my server there are only half a dozen players now in the 40s. Our alliance has a 3* and only one lvl 42 player. Newer servers are definitely not going to be able to sustain the advanced services.

Same here - alliance is about 50% <ops40, 50% >40, and we never ever activate advanced services. Activating base bonuses in each territory we keep up with without spending £.

Regarding TC, we have a series of coalitions so you get 300+ people in a system with about 20 people from the actual alliance defending. Good luck getting through the wall off lag before one of 270 people kill you. Too many shady deals keeping whale alliances on top and little actual pvp as its not fun getting trounced by a 20mil power ship. Personally they need to go back to the drawing board and rework the whole battle system as much as I like watching triangles die in 1s of combat I fear it would be a better game if battles were longer and you had the option to you know "Fleet Command", i.e. call for backup, or retreat, rather than 1v1 ship battles that are over before they start.

For War Preparations AMS do you need to score in every tier to earn rewards?

Please explain me way for gaining power in those events, which are imo too many, when I upgraded 9 platforms on last arc for Worf.

For the AMS of the TC event. it says 1 power from officer = 5 points. What is that 1 point? XP? lvl up? Promote?

It’s power so increase in their stats not XP
