This is a pretty poor event. Probably should have been an alliance LB to start with anyway. We burned through many armadas, uncommon and rares... Of course, with it being a 12 hour event with the majority during work hours, my play window was short... I could have just been soloing faction ships. :/

Biggest problem is the people who didn't get the points from the epics run already since bug still exist and those valuable points will be difference in position they finish which is a huge difference rewards and caunt to overall event position costing them the main reward

It's not going to make up for it. I have 44k points missing. That's a lot to catch up with epics not spawning fast enough by the time you guys give us back the directives. That's also a whole event ruined by this bug. The loss on the scoreboard can't be made up overall. Thanks.

Can we maybe have some more balance to the brackets on the away teams SLB’s going forward please? Putting 36-39 in the same bracket is pretty unbalanced. Ops36-38 players don’t have access to the research for epic assignments which are worth 500 pts. Fairer bracket would be 36-37, or 36-38 with 39 being included with 40 and 41.

Everybody is getting 5 Picard shards which is a **FREE **placement on the **3 day meta event **(7-100 places). Only 6 players per bracket would have earned more and we checked and that's not really affected by the issue we had.

It's impossible for me to compete in a 12-hour leaderboard event. I work. By the time I can play, there will be about 50 minutes left. Imagine how likely I will be to even see an armada at that time? So I've been participating in this thing for days and all of that effort will be for nothing. This is really bad, even for Scopely. I wouldn't even mind a milestone event because I could probably complete it somehow. But a leaderboard event where a bunch of your players can only participate in one or two of the 12 hours? And it's not like you can't anticipate this would a problem.

5 picard shards, 120 rare and 175 epic directives....that glitch cost most of the folks in my alliance much much more than me.

I hope that automated response message was a prototype of like a sample pack on the compensation chest.

Several of our players bought in to armada packs to hit it hard, and got really screwed popping off epics at the beginning of the event.

Almost all of us use payment protection now having dealt with scopely and thankfully so at this point.

If that compensation chest is their answer, we are very likely pulling back payment on anything that related to the event at all.

That proposed compensation is a joke.

Either way they are looking at it would be good to be able to earn the same rewards as the person placed higher and not just because of a time factor of when you can play. I have a question for the game admins about the "Make It So" event. What happens if two players have the exact same amount of points for 1st place in the event? Do they both get the 1st place reward? The reason I'm asking is that is currently the situation on server 47. Shouldn't everyone that is tied for a reward spot get the exact same reward? That seems only fair. @sullen ermine not true. The armada not counting happened to everyone equally. Since everyone competed on the same level with the same bug, your placement is exactly where it belongs. It may not have worked as intended, but the competition was fair.

If you planned on winning by armada, not having your armadas count will mean you don’t score.

And where epic and rare armadas respawn around abouts every 6 months when you’re actually looking for them, you’ll hit them first.

Then you did not properly evaluate the scoring matrix. You were never going to place with armadas. While you are sitting in an armada, I'm tripling your score or better in that same 15 min.

@abstract gate I was doing 25k points every 6 min at level 38 grinding 42-44. Do the math. My bracket generally cant do 41 armadas which is where the break even point would be. ....

Well look at your relevant level, and the scoring for armadas you normally do. The math will favor the grind in most if not all cases.

At OPs 34 you have access to EPIC G3 ships, thats how they scale the events, is it fair? no, not at all. But thats how they scale it. I didn't get my G3 epic until 38. But at OPs 34 I was able to kill 41s with my saladin

Whales can’t carry you through hostiles, they can carry you through armadas. Epic 36 gets you more points quicker than any single ship can grind in the same time.

So throw a low rent ship in a 36 Epic while grinding hostiles with your main ship, score way many more points.
