To me it looks rather like a Franklin-style research. Adds 8k bonus to the about 16k of the Dvor - ie a welcome, reasonable 50% bonus. That would also be in line with the increased pc and the new prime (why reduce the amount or raw lat we have to collect if the mining speed is increased by so much?)

I'm happy with the buff. But it mines so quickly now that you'll have to stay up for 24h babysitting it's OPC if you want to compete on mining events - they should change it's scoring if the mining rate is intended

With all these changes from right to left end of the spectrum, game becomes seriously unbalanced. As @winged tulip said in this example, if you change the rate, scoring also needs to be adjusted. And all that could have been avoided by releasing the update at proper time.

What's the proper time? They have players in all timezones, the developers also presumably have lives and want to release 1. During a working day, and 2. Early enough in a week to not have to work weekends.

i'm gonna seriously doubt you are either @abstract gate and if so, then youo're failing to take into account that you don't split maintenances. you ahve schedules. you run them. the event running at the same time is unfortunate, but it sets it off balance for TODAY. today only. and you have just as much opportunity to buff your speed as aeveryone else.

In the end, when we are short on time, the thing we do first is mine enough for refining twice a day. Iso, data, Lat... There the first to go after for if I have time.

I don't mind mining rate now for g3, plus a bit extra sometimes in special systems, but the secondary resources are still too slow for me 😉 iso like Lat, and data like yarda but with limatar node..... There i would be happy 🤓

Ever since I started playing this game, almost two years ago, I've been wanting Enterprise officers who looked like the Original Series officers I grew up with, not these reboot officers I have no emotional connection with. Now you're finally adding TOS officers to the game -- but they still don't look right! They look kinda-sorta like the original officers, at best. I've seen art in fanzines that looks more like the original officers than this. Can't Scopeless even hire good artists??

Lets face it... they got lucky with acquiring the IP and the game. Or someone knew someone. Fact is that this feels more like a money grabbing scheme than a game. You put your heart and soul into a game and you look beyond profits. When is STFC going to realize that we don’t want to be playing this game all day long. We want to be able to come in and enjoy playing it and then to leave and comeback when we want. Events should be able to be accomplished as such. Making this game a second job in order to progress is not the way to keep your players happy.

All of them. One day we had 7 events going on. Events generally shouldn’t take multiple hours to complete IMO. I made the previous comment because of the statement from panic that after accidentally doing something nice for the players to make latinum events less painful, they’re going to change the “scheduling, scoring and milestones” of the events. Call me crazy, but I don’t think those changes are going to decrease any of those items to make events less of a burden on your players.

Don't worry on the lat mining events. We are not going to make them more difficult than they used to be (they are going to still be much easier with or w/o the d'vor but with slight adjustments so that they are not instantaneous ). We hear you on the amount of stuff you need to do per day and we are definitely trying to simplify that. We are going to do a pass on daily goals (increase rewards and add new ones w/o making it harder to get the loyalty chest) in 2021 and have other quality of life changes planned to make things better.

I had the same thought, looking at the elite rewards, until i got the end and saw the 4* gas. It's enough for prime officers, at a $20 value. I'll probably buy it. The officers don't necessarily entice me either. I also won't be able to get them.

Also, P2P will always get content sooner, or get more of it. That's the nature of a for-profit company/game like this. If you're FTP, you can exercise some tactics to get ahead. I managed to win 2 Lorca auctions this last time around without spending a dime. I built and upgraded the Kumari and Horizon in both auctions.

They do it this way because with some materials there are multiple reductions possible such that you can get greater than 100% reduction, which with the way you presumed it would work means you would be getting paid the resource to do upgrades, haha.

So at ops 36... 84M points and I don't have a level 34 ship to PVP, can get about 400K hull of a 37 with 2.1M intrepid using PMC, other than grind 31s like there's no tomorrow any other suggestions or something obvious I missed?

They are there already but for some reason invisible I assume it will be corrected with the client update (app stores) to fix the repair bug when that is released

You won’t SEE THE KEYS in MS 10. But it’s backgrounded. It will be credited and the box WILL be redeemable

Gonna say, I love the setup of this new Event. Having pvp set up such that it encourages/rewards "fairer play" is nice. The level ranges may need some tweaking, but love the concept.

There was an issue with the original Now and Then 1 - 5 mission set so they corrected it in the best way they could in the short time frame by adding a new mission set and moving part 5

There are quite a things a like this arc but disappointing that officer XP is still missing from the battlepass rewards, as I know a lot of F2P and low level spenders rely on the officer XP from faction hunt to be able to do the domination events

You buy it in the event store. But be aware you use items from the battle pass chain. According to my chain in the game i can only earn 20 more. There was only 30 total in my chain. You need 40 to buy the missions 5 - 10. I used 10 to play missions 1 - 4.

Missions 5-10 are in the other mission pack. The first mission pack contains missions 1-4.

If you are level 30 with only 550k sally I would suggest that you slow the ops down a bit. I know it is too late for this event but something to think about going forward. I can't even do the PvP event at ops33 as I am choosing to skip the L32 ships and only have PvP options for L32 and L34 ships. Luckily I could comfortably do the PvE with my Bortas - but you can bet I wont be hitting ops 34 until I have all the L34 ship blueprints hopefully in about 8 weeks.

I went to ops 35 with a 1.2m Bortas and 1.2m B'Rel and I struggle with some events.
I can complete them but some take hours

for an Ent crew,they are designed to fight against Ents which is weird.Uhura helps you double your damage at max,Spock almost zeros Khan and Gorkon affect in a few rounds and Kirk increases your weapon damage

Uhura is anti 1of10 but does a lot better job and doesnt need to be cap
