- Basically the same as (2), but for alliance
- has X miletones (i didn't see clearly)
- Each point is obtained by completing 1 milestone from Anomalous Phenomena
So to complete all 10 milestones for Chaotic Space SMS, you need 30 points. That means completing 30 milestones/tiers of Anomalous Phenomena. Which means you have to score a perfect 3 in 10 Anomalous Phenomena events (3pts x 10 events = 30 pts).
That means you have to spend 10events x 45mins = 7.5 hours (or 6.75 hours if you take away the wait time for the first one) per day that Chaotic Space SMS runs in order to complete all 10 miletones.
6.75 hours per day is NOT a reasonable expectation for people to be spending on this game. Keep in mind, this is PERFECT scores (by purchasing a Discovery).

@open folio Not exactly correct on the math. Dont need to be on the game waiting for 45minutes. Set a timer, do the event for 7-10 minutes and come back later. 10 events * 7-10 minutes = 70-100 minutes. But the whole event blew I think they received a record number of 💩 on the announcement lol.

The gauntlet token is just a way to know who qualified each week for next gauntlet event.
If you qualified for the final, you should have 3 token, not 2.
The final was cancelled, and the 50 players per server qualified for it had a compensation chest.

It’s not that complicated to understand. You don’t have to participate in every arc lol vidar gives faction credits. Indy credits. Borg probes. Fac rep. Stella gives research. Stronger base and ships. Discovery will be badges. And speedups. They each pay differently. The player that has 100 badges in their inventory doesn’t care. And that’s fine. The ship serves no purpose to them. But to anyone else? Badge farmer

If I went to a planet in dark space and picked up a mission with a 10 mil opponent I wouldn’t mind. So when we are deep into the ds9 arc In 5 month I can come back and see how the discovery story pans out....
I like the idea of splitting the traffic to different systems, to stop congestion cool, that part is a good change. But for short term content arc missions I don’t personally think it’s reasonable to drop a ship like that in the mix. That’s my feedback 👍

Events disappeared because they were broken. There will be more. But you can also get ship free through the arc event. Honestly, unless you are dead set on winning some of the side events, you don't really get anything extra from buying it

Yeah I'm sure the events will be back 'soon' - just like the broken Gauntlet finals that haven't even happened yet and they already topped it with this even bigger mess. Trick is not to keep going at Scopely support who just close tickets without reading, you have to find the social media outlets of CBS and the current Star Trek series. Contract surely contains clauses about damaging reputation but CBS was just presented numbers and never knew about the house of cards the clgame really is.
So make them aware publicly and watch the show where Scopely is sued to the point where management lives in carton boxes that are quality checked with the same process as this game 😉

Anomaly events further exasperated this. Especially without set times. Even then if set times are implemented,
Possible work around is via armada refresh system and node refreshes, which do not require relogging

@twilit imp The Rogues Arc and Stella were supposed to be at the center of this Gauntlet event. How is a general PvP event in any way a competition related to Rogues and Stella and how did it have to be postponed for weeks if it is that simple? Plus, rewards are completely unworthy of a final.
It's quite clear this was quickly and poorly gobbled up to be done with it. However, Reality and communications are completely out of touch, meaning that essentially what was promised has not been delivered. Faulty product is clear, anyone in the EU can claim their spend on the Rogue arc via Google or Apple stores.

Kinda disappointed with the dynamics of the gauntlet event here. I'm looking at a screen full of the whale alliance with their REALLY big ships camping the entry point for the zone. I showed up with my 2.5 Augur (I'm lvl 34) and was instantly targetted by a lvl 49 with a 13.6m interceptor. Sorry, not going to do this. Why not limit everyone to the same tier of ships like the other PVP events? This is a joke.

@twilit imp Another EPIC FAILURE by Scopely. 4-day gauntlet event and they want everyone to drop tags to compete. 1/2 of the members on server 8 are from 1 alliance which would basically shut everything down for 4 days. If they were smart (big if) alliance tags should have been irrelevant in the gauntlet zone since you can not rejoin your alliance for 8 hours after dropping.

I don't really care much about the gauntlet. I do qualify but may not even do it. On server 14 our top alliance had a few members drop tag so they can exchange kills. It would have been nice to have an alliance event run at the same time so that people who drop tags have to sacrifice something to game gauntlet points

None of the alliance events you get rewards for regardless of the participation. There are certain events that specify that you have to score points BEFORE the alliance completes a tier of the multi tiered event.

I've seen the opposite. AMS always says you have to score at least 1 point to get that milestone. I've seen ALBs where non-participants get rewards
again, mad at myself. This is the first event I can remember where I didn't get at least one point
my own fault. Event was long enough, I just didn't get the battle pass fast enough.

I have a big ship (not the biggest, just an enterprise along with many on my server). Complaining about people with big ships doesn't help. It's flawed anyway. Anyone can show up with their realta (ok maybe not a realta, but a small ship that can reach with warp), and no crews but vemet captain and run into each other to score points for each other. or maybe throw michael/klaa and/or pan on your ship so you have better impulse speed to avoid the folks that you don't want to hit...

well, I can only assume you're not going to sleep more than 12 hours. So, you should either be able to get back on the game before you sleep after maintenance is over and you have a shield. Or if maintenance ends while you sleep, when you get up, you should have a shield on.
If you need to sleep more than 12 hours, keep it to yourself, but you should probably see a physician if you don't see one already

So, if people are going to sleep now and maintenance is only 1 hour, a 4-hour shield will end while they are sleeping. Why are you so upset that it's a long shield. It's beneficial.
