So you need to have Discovery to do the event effectively but nobody has it yet. It’s a pure money grab, except that the ship pack only appears during an active event. Operators are standing by to take your order!
Next you have to locate the system. I know you’ve all memorized the map. Would it have killed them to make the system list clickable?

You wont be able to finish it likely with a single non Disco miner. You might get it done if you have 3 or 4 horizons and be on the nodes when the event starts.

As for picking up a check I don't work for Scopely, I've got nothing but disdain for them and I am continually unimpressed by their programming teams especially considering my background in software design. So can someone check my math here. 25 points a kill, 6 seconds a kill. So 10 a minute. That is 250 points a minute. You need 8 minutes to complete an event that last for 7 minutes. That is assuming your in system when it starts. This event cannot be completed unless you bought the discovery pack. why the hell do we keep having these paid play events. Awsome work as always. No event if I didn't restart. Unballanced milestones (takes 22 hours if you do only 1 milestones in a 10 min event - without sleep). Can't targaet hostiles (fake one - shows still it's alive). Attacking a hostile - ship try to catch it totatlly elsewhere - fake locations. Random event systems - can't prepare for it. And yes - forcing everyones a few system - lagging (both on bluestacks & galaxy S10+)... And everybody smells that you try force players to invest more money to this "awsome event system"... Don't know to cry or laugh...

- You have to search for the system first, fly there, and fight with other around 10 NPCs, without Discovery you need at least 6 29ers for 1 milestone.
As always, it is not well thought out, and is only intended for players with an American Express Black Edition who don't win anything here, but buy everything! Scopely only thinks with the dollar signs in her eyes. Scopeley manages to make Star trek fans start hating Star trek just because of this game!

- No guidance as to which system we'll need to be in for the next event.
- No notice that a new event has started or ended (must refresh the app repeatedly around the time we "think" that the next event is supposed to be).
Will you please state clearly that will only create content for and support players that pay hundreds/thousands of euros every month to play your limited licence game? Even the most mildly P2W players amongst us will be denied the ability to compete in this latest event's first phases - don't you want to earn more money from more players, rather than further ostracise and distance those of us that have been with you since the start of our respective servers? This is a big problem, particularly if you're doing faction hunt in G4 areas.
If the event actually FIRED OFF and SHOWED UP, it might be worthwhile. It's a good idea, but in practice, it's not working and sucks something dirty and smelly and rotten. Eggs. Yes. Eggs. We'll go with that.

Decrease them by a factor of 10 for both individual anomaly event and the daily ms and it will be a nice change from the usual lineup. As is there’s no point to even bother.

Problem with that model is only the spenders will spend and while the content are fun...we all love to raid people. They've designed it so it's basically a ponzi scheme and the base players are collapsing

Buying the ship won't help much in the wirhdrawn event. Impulse speed too low to catch hostiles and mining micellium is not counting towards the events

Exactly. Buy8ng the ship will not help with the hostile anomaly. And I was hunting with 4 ships and got barely the second milestone. If I was alone in the system I could possibly do it with 4 ships in time, but with 100 other players in the system - no chance

@twilit imp it's not just that players can't see the event. the format of the event itself is fundamentally flawed. 7 minute event window, in a random system, no warning as to which systems will be involved, limited number of hostiles in those systems, low spawn rate of the hostiles, high point totals and the fact that most people don't even have the discovery yet all combine to make the whole structure of the event an exercise in frustration for the players. this event needs to go back to the drawing board.
