it's literally the EXACT same event we've already had. therefore, (admittedly, this one may be tough lol) it would stand TO REASON, that the prize will be commiserate.
it's not a new event, nor a new currency. the last time we got episolon WAS for swarm, so it's probably the exact same event. and therefore, the exact same reward.

I think it is a total joke that lower level players do not get the shards, they have to do the same event as the rest of us. A level 22 player hitting level 24 swarms is just as hard as a 30 hitting level 32s

And don't forget that L28 players can hit L22 players. It makes no sense to limit Kahn shards or to ignore mid to lower 20s overall, except to feed the top tiers. Many players leave in the 20s because they get pummeled by higher levels and can't rebuild as it is such a grind to gather resources. There need to be better rewards for each level. Scopely did better with the progression events in the last rogue month. They dropped the ball when they didn't include a regular armada event after trying to get so many to level 23 or something with the borg after pushing those to L25 and L26.

@abstract gate I disagree that the ONLY reason is due to that. The best shield discipline can be messed up by real life surprises. Raids hurt due to the minimal protected rss on the station. Raids are part of the game but it becomes unplayable for both pvp and PvE players if players leave because rss becomes impossible to find and keep either because of everybody shielded or because a player has been so wiped out that they lose all drive to rebuild once again.
I had excellent shield management for 2 months and had accumulated a nice stockpile. However, one real life work emergency caused me to miss my reshield schedule. I lost all that work, every drop of it, because of that. It is deflating to see so much time and effort be erased in less than an hour because the game rewards whales in such a drastically off balanced way. There needs to be a better way to help those who can't constantly be on their device to play and recover. While shielding is the ONLY way to protect yourself in the game there needs to be other things to keep players from feeling completely and utterly devastated.

The game is focused around pvp, but once again the warehouses and vaults are seriously broken.
Going to use Clash of Clans as a example, because ive been playing rather consistently for 6 years now. Its focus is pvp, but you don't lose 99% of your resources when you lose. You lose some on a successful raid, but not the vast majority. In STFC your vault can, and is, horrid
If Vaults and warehouse get a serious overhaul, these conversations would be a lot less.

I remember one of the first pvp events a couple of months after launch, mining areas were ghost towns. Poor souls would go to a empty node not realizing it was a pvp event then 6 ships would warp in to kill it, end up fighting each other.

The problem is that you need to spend hours every day mining and farming in order to continue progressing, so any time you start to look at general PvP you get issues where people's progress becomes stifled 🤷♂️
I think most people would be less bothered by PvP if progression wasn't so slow and expensive, or if PvP was handled in a manner that didn't disrupt their ability to progress generally. And given that PvP usually turns into just hitting miners, some more meaningful PvP options are sorely needed..

Combine mining with more pvp. Your alb hourly mining rate gives a buff to ships. Your alliance can mine 100k/hr, your ships get an extra 100% boost to attack defenders health etc. So a bunch of the team mine, others go to war. Should we have more miners for bigger boost or more fighters for overwhelming numbers???

They need to give more then 2 ships out during the event that or have the event more then once a month. A lot of people are essentially stagnate now because of the way they are issuing bps for the iss jelly. I have been hold up at level 39 now for a couple of months because of this.

Can't confirm if it's true or not but I have heard on some servers players can't go above ops 39 as scopely have put an hold on progress so I wouldn't expect the event to be any more regularly then it already is, In Scopely terms it is a big event

My newish server has only had the jelly event twice, and only one winner per. Anecdotally it was reported the second guy spent $17k during the event on stuff to level to get it. And we don't have an ascension event yet so they have to level and scrap Mayflowers to get any materials to upgrade them.

@quaint pecan I was below 27 during the last arc and upgraded during and my events changed up. If you are a new ops level after the overnight reset then it should update your events too
For the daily events it literally changed as I finished the ops building 😂😂

doesn't matter much really. do the solo stuff. ignore the ridiculously impossible leaderboards. special events are pay for early access. virtually everything is geared toward whales at this point.
Standard gameplay is rapidly dying. If you can't plow through new content in a day or two by buying into it you very quickly get to a point where you get stuck not being able to do any of it.

@twilit imp the number of officers was out of control before for selecting ship crew. The usual crews for hostiles are separated thus it takes a long time to scroll back and forth for selecting crews. Now will be worse. Can we have pre selected crews or easier way yo select crews

@quick wharf 1 battle is resulting in 3-4 notifications. 1 is the correct notification, the others are either a different docked ship versus the hostile or your station versus the hostile.
I clicked one of those notifications just for fun, and this is what it popped up

@livid ember all of them afaik...they alternate between fast n small and slow n large though so you'll have to drain a few to spawn the bigger nodes (like when they removed dil/g3 flippers and you had to drain the dil first)

Despite having reported this case to the server on which we are still suffering these attacks a player with lv 44 attacking players of lv 31 and inferior We were 26 players in the alliance we have already lost 3 among them one of lv 38 and now other players threaten to abandon
I have been in the game since December 2018 I have suffered looting bugs bugs sadness and joys but what we are suffering now only has one name

@night verge You are confused. the new Battle Pass has new Missions...not the same ones. If you did not collect the ones from the last Battle Pass in time, that's on you. Battle Pass ends, stuff goes away. This is a new Battle Pass with new stuff.

@cedar cove some outlaw research requires the particles you get from scrapping the stella. The higher the level the more particles you will receive. So you'll get a token to replace all stella prints and so many particles for research
Don't scrap until its at least lvl 10 or higher

@cedar cove You get Particles from scrapping which is needed for research. The Medals are also needed for different researches and the medals will come from new monthly events
but scrapping the Stella gives Stella Particles which are a currency for some researches. It also gives you a Hull Scan which can be redeemed for a full set of BP so you can build it again.
The Medals come from Monthly Events and are used for some researches as well
there are also Alpha/Beta/Gamma Particles which you earn by completing certain researches then open some paths, later you can get a second one and go back and do the other path

@final dawn maybe. There are factors beyond your operations level, one of them being your faction reputation. It sounded like there's at least one other factor, but I'm not familiar with what it is.

The event store should update to reflect your current status (I've done it in the past), but without knowing all of the levers it's hard to say just do X (had a friend do it, but then didn't get the BP, apparently something else was required also according to their CS response..).

@neat garden pretty sure we are all in the same boat, lost count of how many times I have scrapped it. I also I think they have increased the research cost, so they giveth and then taketh away, but ultimately I think the change is better as it allows earlier progression before the time/effort curve flattens.

@neat garden I'm guessing the chance is real low, but it would be cool. Depends on if the increase was truly a result of feedback or intentionally low at first to not warp the progression events and/or push the packs with comparably tons more particles at that time.

Yes, some Events are for higher level players. Not all events can be for everyone
most of Outlaws is centered around the Stella, which is a 27+ ship, so most of the content from these Arcs is 27+, especially the Alliance Leaderboards and stuff

Those are only the events that relate to Arc 3. Not the daily points Events or other standard events that may run. There could still be a race to OPs event in there somewhere, but it's not part of the Arc so not displayed. They have never announced these types of events.

They announced them last time in game. They spelled out what the week long events would be for each level, there was a gap between the two so I was able to take advantage of 18, 19 and 20 before the second one ended.

If i can mine data at 1.6 million per hour on a 3700 node in Yarda, I should be able to mine at the same rate on a 60000 node in ILmater. Or any data node for that matter in any data system
