I also waited before spending ultra tokens to see if our sever changed to new officer events, didn’t, we have normal spend xp event, so I spent about 10k ultra to finish the Borg event for the extra 250 points.

@robust vapor I was making smaller ships, upgrading them, hitting a few hostiles until they were close to needing 10k xp per level, then spending ship xp from armada chests etc plus lay as it’s cheap convert over 10k to level them up, 70k ship xp isn’t that much to complete event. Then scraping those ships for the 3* uncom. It was a nice system, competed in most ship xp solo events. Now it needs 470 uncom each time, impossible.

I get more benefit from the current ones as I'm still working on my grade 3 ship upgrades, though I would prefer if they added both styles into the system instead, give people choices and options.

Don’t think the new ones suck, just milestones too high, and too often. Lower milestones or less frequent because of more types of events in the mix would be great.

I’m kind of getting tired of always having to learn workarounds to fix Scopely’s bugs. Maybe it’s time to throw a 7 day shield and take a break from this game. It’s sad that the excitement of this new Borg stuff doesn’t outweigh the frustration of these bugs. First we had to learn how to get out of battles we were stuck in, now we have to figure out how to clear all these chasers that are frozen in faction space so we can actually complete our dailies. Why can’t the developers actually clear out their bugged ships? <@&509691205798592532> - I Tag you because I really don’t like tagging Panic.

It’s getting old, this cycle we’re in: Scopely releases new content, we get unintended bugs, we scramble to learn workarounds to get past the bugs, Scopely “fixes” bugs, we get more bugs, WE have to spend our resources to clear out Scopely’s bugs (I think we’ve had a similar bug on npc’s before, we - the customers - has to use our hulls to clear chasers then also), e get new content... vicious cycle. It’s getting old.

What's bothering me is that when my Talla is killed by anything other than the 3 event PvP ships, it doesn't count for the event, so one of the other groups is starting hitting everybody with big ships to prevent them from getting event points.

we were talking about you need strong healthy alliances to get all the AMS and get the directives..... is this not a relatively fair way to make sure even some of the lower alliances are able to get these milestones? the events may seems silly to a lo tof us, but the IDEA behind it was to allow the lower powered alliances be able to play as well.... it's tough to design an event for players 10-50. i'd say this one is pretty well done, even if we think it's silly.

so use klaa and speed crew and avoid the jellies and kill the other phindras that show up.

Looks like you’ve done the missions... you’ve got 500 points. Extra 250 comes from opening ultra chests to get Borg shards.

yes, I think that's the confusion people have. They complete the 2 missions, get the 250 points each for 500 points total, and then they think that should finish the event. It doesn't.
I used up all of my ultra recruits and finished the event pretty quickly
Also picked up about 8 more 10 of 10 shards, which makes me happy.
62/115 for Ten of Ten. He's going to take a while to unlock, but I think he'll be worth it.
