Anyone with this error for the Borg Premium event and on iOS I got this fixed by doing a Hard reset on my iPhone. I also logged in and out of my Apple ID, redid my purchasing methods and reinstalled the App... so not sure if it was the hard reset alone or a combination of the above but after the hard reset it now works and I have purchased the premium rewards

why is everybody still surprised about the lack of armadas during the armada event, it happens every time, normally there are 2-5 armadas in the systems that have them, and then about 35 seconds after any kind of armada event begins the majority of them vanish, and dont respawn until after the armada event is over... the amount of letdown is equal to the amount of hype, which is to say-allot

Armada events are a joke. There just isn't enough armadas to go around. We need more lvl 29 to 31 uc armadas, more lvl 27+ rare and more lvl 27+ epics. Why don't we get armadas in soo many systems like tejat, wellenia, and so many more lvl 29 to lvl 33 systems that don't have armadas at all. Scopely really needs to add armadas to these systems.

Love how a group of lvl 40+ can keep folks in the mid 30 from doing armadas. And their points are wasted. No @shrewd totem and other admins will say you need to defend your site. But how does ships with 1 million power stand up to ships with 3 to 4 million in power. Seems the attack range for lvl 41 should be 37 or 38+ not lvl 30 and up.
And that is usually sarcasm front admins. Get the devs to balance the dam game.

Once again scopely has CHOSEN to ignore the armada problem. I have not spent a cent on armada packs and never will until you fix this problem. There are not enough of them and the respawn rate is absolutely atrocious. I hope no one spends money.on the packs because they are nothing but a cash grab for scopely targeting naive people. What good is a pack if I cannot use the credits. I have been scouring for an hour looking for epic armadas in level 30+ systems, zero, zilch, nada, nothing. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Scopely needs to fix this, armadas is the single biggest fail of an idea they have launched. Please, please fix this as it will make the play experience more enjoyable and it will.create better revenue for scopely as people will be more willing to spend money on armada credits they can actually use.

Sadly it is intended behavior. Devs made it very clear at the onset they want people to fight over armadas. And intended that we lose the directives. It's just scummy greed.
Step 1: Buy directives.
Step 2: Fight over armadas.
Step 3: Waste time, rss, repairs and directives. Gain nothing.
Step 4: Buy more directives.
It's the perfect monetization cycle. Paying hundreds and ending with less than what you started with, thus pushing to spend even more.

Well thier intention is flawed and back fired, most people, especially in my server respect the armadas because they are priced ridiculously high. If we could.get more credits faster then maybe we would.fight over them but no one wants to waste them. May be "intended" but it is an epic fail on scopely's part and I haven't met a person yet that likes them or has anything good to say about them. I am sure there are a few dillusionals out there but vast majority hate them. Scopely needs to revisit this and make players happy, like they did with faction lock

Sure there is an amount of pvp required to obtain par/tri/dil from bases, but I struggle to think of a situation where a pure pvp approach is better than the rules most have adopted.

But your missing the point, scopley didnt make roe, they by their own words is that mining was meant to encourage fighting. They never intended people holding them for hours, days or even weeks as some do. Events like data mining were designed to make people fight for points, buy more repair speed ups, build bigger ships to take or defend their miners

@abstract gate the issue with pvp for mines at higher rep lvls and dual or trip faction is it takes 2+hrs per faction to finish dailys. Even with 3 ships working in tandem with the 4th shuttling around relieving them before opc it's a massive drag...and that's without having to worry about some douche with a budget sally blowing them to smithereens every 10mins. Between dailys and events this game requires a huge time investment that the constant threat of pvp only amplifies.
Roe is a player construct that relieves some of that time sink and reduces stress

I rarely hold a mine longer than it takes to get my 3 respected dailys done (25k each enough for double batches each day and some stockpile for bonus refine). During events I'll get my solo banged out across 4-6hrs then I'm off the node.

yeah, the launch should be disabled as soon as another player starts one, not have a 10 sec delay so we waste directives, and have the respawn faster. Our alliance has lost over 2000 directives just thismorning from launching armadas on already active targets because the flags don't show.

Well, the timer glitch has started many battles for the armada on my server. More often then not the 2 alliances fighting over it lose it to a third. Working as intended I guess

I don't mind the flags not showing up on armadas as much as our server has a bunch of broken and glitched armadas as some are just ghosts and can't be targeted but also stop the system from spawning that armada spot again to having some that you can start but are glitched so that it's impossible to beat the armada, and you won't even be compensated for your lost directives.

I just wish there were more Armada targets during events. I have 3000 Armada directives and I have literally spent hours looking for one. Yes I could kill someone for an Armada, but am I really going to bother just to get loads of abuse. Its not like the rewards are that great anyway.

I have done the sum total of two in this event. Not worth paying for them, total garbage. They need a complete re-work in my opinion, to a capture the flag style mechanic. Score points for holding a target. The bigger the target the more points. Re work the combat interface to allow for jumping in/out mid battle. Even have defensive outposts that give buffs to defenders. There is lots of scope to do something, anything remotely different to fights by dice rolls.

Armadas are a missed opportunity. At this point people are just launching armadas against targets others have already started, just to get points in the launch event.
I have enough directives for 33 uncommons but anytime I went looking for one I couldn’t find any. There’s simply better things to do with your time.

Just checked out the Armada re-spawn rate in Lcars channel. The Epic Armada respawn rate is ridiculous - basically means you have little to no chance of spending armada token during the course of the event. Sweet spot armada sizes of 12M and 18M are 1-2+ days for respawn in only 8 systems total I think. I want a refund.

Their fix for the swarm was to make the franklin better via galaxy research, so jayla has no use and like augments, in fact worse then augments once a franklin is maxed its modulators are useless, at least augment have augment ships and other stuff to spend their resources on. No matter your level or the level of the franklin you make the same biometal per day via rewards.

The Epic Tokens and Nanoprobes are the only thing that carried over, your Borg Points and MS Tokens reset for each Arc
The only way to get the event store rewards is to buy the Premium Pack, since they do not carryover from the previous Arc

there are plenty of rewards from the Milestones themselves for you non-paying people. Also, the $20 pack is one of the most reasonable the game has ever offered

The real bad thing that there is only poor information about the use of tokens when you have them. Now we all know that these tokens can not be used in the following acts, would have been nice to know before. Now its to late to buy the pack to get the rewards, i would have spent the money if i knew about it.

@dry mountain the reason for charging two is pretty simple if you stop and think about it. if you buy the $20 Premium pack, you still have to grind to get the rewards, unless you pay even more for Borg Points.

There are those that attack players Franklins to get their frequency modulators? Not that big of a deal because it doesn’t cost anything to fly back to a swarm system. But with the Borg systems, it now requires a Transwarp Cell per trip? Meaning as soon as you warp in, someone could be that guy and kill you on arrival which wastes the item needed to get there.
How easy is it to acquire the Transwarp Cells for this very possible scenario?

@waxen galleon I expect that exact situation to occur on my server very often. we've got players who love to refuse to let others play.
according to Panic "it doesn't matter". that's the most ardent approval of bullying behavior i've heard from scopely yet. One high level player, spending on one cell can ruin the trip for potentially hundreds of other players. It's a serious issue that needs to be addressed seriously when we are all dealing with the same limited resource.

There is one entry point in those systems. Players will sit right there and pick players off as they enter. Impulse speed is slower than an instant trip to base.
