Do what I do, grind normal mobs.

I'm grinding Khitomer for Envoy parts and getting point for Federation and Romulan for BOTH events.

It count reputation gain on one event and damage done to faction on the second.

I misread it before too. But getting triple the rewards now for the mobs I usually grind. 😍

The first supremacy event just has 4 levels with 10m points at the top, so until they have an actual leaderboard, or a different event for elite/bosses, they are useless to farm (unless they are dropping new ship parts, I only killed a few so didn't test it much)

i can kill like 23 lvl 30 ships with kumari when i can barely do 17 on the mayflower and thats with the mayflower having type advantage hte kumari type disadvantage.

It seems that the US servers are not seeing what the Europeans are seeing. We are only seeing 1 print per level. And it takes 9m points to get that 4th print. Ummmm...no. It costs me 144k per million points. That 144k for the first 3 then 1.3m for the forth. I don’t think so.
I posted pics of all 4 levels on the general discussion channel, to back up what I’m saying.

@lament ferry I am in EU and I see solo event with 10 M for 4th blueprint. It takes alot of time to do it ... but its doable. Also what I am seeing is incoming solo leaderboard type event (starting in 20something hours) with 30 blueprints for 1st place ...

Not at 1,300,000 in tritantium for repairs. Not counting the Dilithium. Definitely not worth it. 30 for first place. We have some pretty heavy hitters on our server. No way to win that. All the pay to win guys banded together into one alliance. They dominate everything. And will kill your ships to keep you from participating.

Anyways , I am counting if you finish all daily rewards for 5 days or 6 days you will get 20-24 shards + if you are 1st in event you'll get 30 shards... so if you are f2p you will be at 50-54 shards by the end of event ... and there is no chance you can win this ships by playing as f2p ..

The faction Commander ships are 2.3m+. No one on our server has a ship higher than 400k that I'm aware of. The Leaderboard event is a joke @quartz forge it all comes down to who wants to suicide their ship the most.

The Race ops 20 event is downright unfair for anyone who turned ops 19 right before the event started @quartz forge . They've done the work, but there's no way they can race to ops 20 in just 3 days so they get absolutely nothing, compared to someone who happened to turn ops 19 (or any ops level for that matter) right after the event started...

@quartz forge the fact that this event can't earn half of a ship for putting in the kind of work expected to complete it twice a day, while packs buy half of a ship only, is extortion at its finest. if you're not top 3 on the server, you don't get a ship without buying two packs, and one pack is worthless on its own since you can't even buy blueprints in the faction store to round things off.

I’ve spent to date $5 on the game. Pro tip: 2* ships repair a lot quicker and cheaper than 3* ships. 3* ships are a trap which is why I couldn’t give a flying flip about the damn faction ships. Up to 1.5M points on Fed and Klingon. Will easily get 10M tonight.

@vapid jacinth It was clearly indicated you had to be level 26, it's the reason why many held off on purchases. That said, I've got my NS to 163k power so it's more than adequate to grind lvl 30 faction ships economically (with suitable PVE crew). I can get in 5 x 30s per repair cycle, maybe 8-9 x 29s, or quite a number of 28s.

Nice new missions, as lvl22 with 75K Vakhlas as my best ship i could reach 3/4 of second mission line. No Scopely, im not gonna use 100€ to upgrade my Vakhlas to point i could kill this Boss ship as am sure next mission line has similar opponent that requires 100-200€ more to complete. No progress on sight. Maby ill get past it after a month when grinded enough mats. If im still here anymore...

Solo leaderboard points are only from damage to commanders. Commanders have over 2M power. There are about 3 people on my server that can hit that.

10.000.000 points we have to collect if we make +/- 10.000 points per kill this means 1.000 hi stiles must be killed - seriously? With repair & travel time this takes me the entire day and what is the learning again in the end that we get again just 50% of we need to build something that can’t be build without money. The commanders have massive health pools, which is why their overall strength appears so large. They don't do as much damage as you would think, and you don't have to win the fight to get points

These 3 new faction ships cannot be built until shipyard 26. If you are not close to that.... then the event should not really bother you. It is for those that are close enough or meet the requirements to build them. I think the devs did good with the events for them so far. I am a few levels away.... so I dont expect to be able to compete or gain the blueprints for those ships yet.

From what I’m seeing you can get 4 of the new bp’s from the daily event. It takes 80 bp’s to build them. I’m guessing this event won’t be running for 20 days.....

The link in announcements says you'll get 20 BPs for the event if you hit all of the goals.

This race to lvl 20 event is meaningless to me. I’ve been stuck trying to mine crystal to upgrade my shipyard for like a week now. Sometimes I get 10, sometimes zero. I get that u folks need to earn money but why put up an unachievable event. I can’t even make ops 20 b4 shipyard and that ain’t happening anytime soon. Just my two cents and I’m sure I’m not the only lvl 19 in this situation. @quartz forge

I have restarted by trying both killing the game and restarting and by using Clear Localization under Settings probably 20-25 time today to no effect. Even uninstalled and reinstalled once with a phone reboot in-between uninstall and reinstall.

Yeah, I am on a fixed income and cannot afford a $100. I get $785 a month on my SSI. Other games can show appreciation to F2P players. Ones like this that refuse usually do not fair so well, and become just a couple hundred players at best.

Before it is the following: Standard Chests can only grant you 3 Shards Per 1 Chest.
Premium Chests can only grant you 5 Shards per 1 Chest.
Ultra Chests can only grant you 10 shards per 1 Chest.

@quartz forge See pictures above. This event showed up for me for about 45 minutes. I made one attack, that it disappeared. The monthly which gives all the resources. I contacted Support at 7:46 AM and they told me six hours later to clear the localization, turn off the device, and it should work. Nothing. Will there be compensation for this? The fight for supremacy event is a crock of shit. The only people the can score top 20 is anyone who bought both ship packs and the toer up pack. My 210k kumari ounces off the Klingon commander because I have a type disadvantage, one reason klingons are winnings is they they can actually use their kumaris against the boss, which is an explorer

@white matrix our top alliances have flirted with the idea on and off. Problem is they are constantly at war and a lot of players put an abnormal emphasis on power rankings. Our highest level player is 38 which is insane. Power destroyed keeps on changing hands, but right now the leader is sitting at 50M. Vast majority of my deaths come from a pool of 5 players. I can safely say that over half my deaths come from two individuals. Right now on my server, the high levels are healthy and active, but the mid levels are quitting or significantly reducing their play time in droves.

My server tries to implement those rules but with revisions. Like base hit are ok no retaliation.... lmao.
Plus my alliance uses no zero node, only zero mode, over cargo, only over cargo, and no hits at all. To adjust alliances and treaty.
Warship hits are considered possible acts of war. We discus and reach out.

Theres no alliance trade or sector power or territory which makes treaty and naps hard to implement.

As well as most servers I see that have these rules a lot of people cant finish dailies becouse of the 0 mode and otl rules.

I think if you NEED a node and all nodes are taken then somebody is being removed.
Enemy, neutral, nap, ally, sister alliance.

I am currently in the top 100 for Fed and Klingon for the Boss event. I wouldn’t say this event is strictly for whales, it just is significantly easier for them.

I'm not really sure how the game intends to strike a balance, to bring people in and help them catch up. The road to 50 is god awful, so where most games expect that the action truly happens at the very end, that's simply not going to happen here.

We still have an active server. Still see new players coming in. But getting to or finding the new players in time and explaining that there are some pricks with the sole intention of making people quit can be tricky. But have managed to help a number of new players stick around and find joy in the game.

I hope new players enjoy their experience. I would imagine there isn't much to enjoy, unless you are on a very passive server. The economy is terrible, so it's a lot of work to get resources. And what you do get is absolutely going to get taken by someone more established, since there is an overly-generous level range for PvP

Ours is still active as well. We are getting new players. Their complaints are normal mining and pvp drama that is mostly regarding similar level players. The higher level players usually only hit lower levels in the inter faction space systems like Willena and niawallen (sp)

Well, the problem with shields (for the non-spenders) is that you only get 12 hours worth from your dailies, so you either need to be active the other 12 hours of every day (which is ridiculous) or you will eventually leave a gap in coverage. An average station with a few million in each resource can be drained in a few minutes. Not to mention that with notifications being bugged, you'll often get your attack alert 30 minutes after everything is gone.

On another note: Anyone finding this current event a bit backwards? It's not really a measure of meaningful progress, it's just about who suicided their ships more and spent the most on speed-ups and repair costs. It's really counter-intuitive to fun gameplay.

I honestly think it would have been a lot more fun if it had been alliance rather than solo, and you gained points by taking down boss ships as a group.

It's indeed damage that really matters. (However a it's cheap thrill to sack a kill before it's kinetics come online!). As for the ~5k loot and the +82 rep, while helpful, it's really nothing to write home about. I do agree it should be kills, and an alliance oriented kill event.

Then you didnt see what happened on most servers.

Two guilds would move their bases to the same s
Zone accupying same planets. They would use realtas and fortunes and just smash into each others bases and die by the thousands. Making so the guilds who could do this the most and longest win.
All of space was a ghost town.

The first morning before this all ships were dead by those who log in at the time the servers went up. Everyone spent 3 hours repairing went and looked not a single ship in space.

THERE WAS NO PVP. In the pvp event.

The bug fixes are fine but nothing is being done as far as game structure is concerened, for instance changes to the league leaderboard, attacking lvls re: high lvl attacking low level and extra functions for Alliances re: managment and messaging fascilities

@quartz forge going to be honest here, the real issue is either perception that you (you = Scopely) are actually do not care at all on player suggestions and feedback. Bugs are not ironed out, in-game economy is screwed up and overall player satisfaction level is below that of an old Soviet gulag . We can see that the implementation of events and features are only made to encourage spending. But this only cater to what? 5% of the player base? Would be nice to at least have some C-level folks read up what’s here and smell the real air for once. Care about players, make a gesture toward them about actually taking into account their griefs. Stop being greedy in your pricing, this makes no sense. Honestly. The value of in-app purchase vs real world money is beyond ridiculous. And I’m in the same boat as @remote crypt . Dying server without a glimmer of hope as wether we will be merged or opened to new players. (Even if you mentioned that it was a possibility, I still have doubts that it will happen before less than 50 active players are on that server) . Remember that perception is reality. And the perception of Scopely right now is rather low from comments here. Just next to nuclear waste and Brussels sprouts.

I found the event quite rewarding. I'm almost ftp,so I don't expect to compete at the top or get the shiny toys but the trit at 1m was sure useful. I didn't bother going any further as it was clearly unobtainable for me, but I was happy at that. Threw a few ships at the commanders and was very pleased with the refined G3 almost for free. As an event it worked far better for me than most have until now.

I just didn’t understand these last events; they put up a race to 20 event yet provided a very limited time restriction and removed the “tier to 20” pack. Making you either grind for the g2 uncommons, which take 2-3 weeks for an average player. Or pay 99 bucks for a pack that provides you with the amount needed.
The ship/faction event was only for the big spenders. Any low spender / ftp had no real chance to get any reasonable amount of BP’s.

Right now the model is unsustainable. Yes they have big whales, but the big whales are only encouraging the mid tier whales to spend more. They are decimating everyone else and forcing them to quit.

@quartz forge I really enjoyed this last event. It actually aided in progression and boosted in game goals. Rewards allowed you to continuously compete without stopping for resources. Final rewards were worth the pause in other activities.

@quartz forge the issue with this JB is that the only one here that doesn’t actually already have a faction ship is Hari. The others have rare factions over 1M power, I’d say the event was a bust based on that alone , please send feedback to level bracket it for the future.
Also are scopely going to be putting in BP drops for the new ships?

I do think refining rates wouldn't hurt to be tweaked. You need to the carrot to keep people progressing, and when things cost hundreds a component and you don't even get one uncommon on a 10-hour timer...that's not very enticing.

Has the team considered switching it from batches to guaranteed pulls? Like the first batch is completely random, the 'double batch' instead guarantees uncommon, and the 'triple batch' guarantees uncommon with the best chance for rare?

@soft gate I get that but right now I’m stuck because it requires one rare crystal to lvl up and as you know by now it’s impossible to get that out of the refinery. I do agree that they should include enough items to tier up one complete lvl.. for example I have another ship that require about 150 uncommon crystal but the package they offer only give you about 90 uncommon crystal. They need to do better in what they offer in the package. They know what you need so they should not shortchanged
