I would like to thank Scopely for adding a BP event which allows both PvP and PvE options to complete. As we all know not everyone enjoys PvP (I do when time permits). I hope the scoring remains 15pts per hostile kill. to allow everyone to complete it. Failing that as BP events have never had PvP before I'd expect alot of BP refund requests from Apple and the Play stores.

Day 3 of not being able to collect the BP rewards… not digging it. This after a bunch of us couldn’t even open the BP for the first few days. Scopely fixed it so I bought the BP. But they didn’t really fix it since I can’t get the rewards I paid for and earned. So the fix wasn’t a fix.

Outpost suggestion: put the wave timer at 3 minutes instead of 5 minutes. Would clear them out for the next player sooner. You can't buff the ones in the capture anyway, and they are fully recharged by the 3 minute mark.

An OPS 31 shared his event with me, and there's only 200 points needed down at his level for all 4 stages to complete, but 18.3K points required at OPS 50 to complete it, while only giving out 34 points for the hostiles I can easily grind in Augment exile space (which is a higher level than anything in old augment space). 🙂

and p.s. I am still thinking Candle is correct that this event was not intended to run as a battlepass event since the corresponding Ferengi event is a Domination event.

The ship to level strength ratio is to high and the point value is to low when defeated. I think your performance in that event is trying to tell you that you are weak for your level.
In a faction ship I can kill 38s easy.
In a tier 3 reliant, it is a set out and forget it in a 38 or lower system. Or I can actively hunt the 40s.
If you want to hunt the loot goblins without the reliant use Vemet as captain.

I disagree. Out of all the loops. If you have had the reliant from day one. This one gets easy. If you waited the 100 days to get the free reliant. Wait another 100 days.

With the reliant you’ll pretty much get everything for free after it gets to tier 12. It’ll be tier 12 after hundred days.

We have been told that the G3/4 players would be treated better, would be helped to progress and no longer ignored. allowing for us to progress faster and catch up to Scopelys expectation of where all players should be.

Now we have CotA being a 51+ only event? and advised one day before it started. This feels very end of ark event store removal style again.

What is required in company communication rather than the current flame bait style posting (please let your marketing department craft your official announcements.) that leaves questions and upset customers, is to state something like "CotA is moving to a 51+ event because of ______, we will be running events for the G3/4 players".
Clearer communications that leaves less questions and ambiguity (this isn't a dating show).

How hard is it to create a normal pace, and then offer an increase in that pace in exchange for $? Nerfing the pace of progress that we used to get for free and then charging for it is completely unnecessary when you are the creator of the product and can determine the pace you want from day 1.

No other freemium games does that. In fact, most slightly increase the pace/content as the game goes on, to create positive sentiment that drives more impulse spending. It kinda sucks how easily our brains are manipulated into spending $5 here, $20 here, but it works. I'm still trying to accumulate the rare armada cores for the final level of my ACC which is locking me from upgrading my ops to 57... So I have no buildings that require materials to level up, I had to rely on the faction credits and the specialty buildings. And it was fine with the available options the last couple of times... But this is just a joke. I don't even approach scoring half way with the available options. Especially since it's basically all new arc options that we all already spent when the arcs were here! We have none left to do anything substantial. I can put 1 level in my recon locus and a few in my Transogen forge. these are all stuff we've heavily spent recently.

They've gutted the value they themselves first created and enticed us with. The ridiculous thing is, they control the supply of 'value' in stfc. Instead of gutting the current supply of value, they could've just increased the supply. The only limiting factor in 'value' here is their ability and willingness to create it.

Its not a rare mineral with a finite amount in the ground, or art from a long-dead creator that will never make any more of it. With a decent investment in people and equipment, they can just... fabricate more value. We're all hooked Trek nerds just clamoring for more... and with enough support and a good environment, the design teams that get to create in a world of Trek and stfc could supply quality content for a long, long time.

Instead, they choose to cut many, many corners on delivering new value while milking us even more on current value. Its cheap, lazy and incredibly entitled... and in the end, the crappy attitude and short-sighted choices is what makes us angry. It didn't have to be this way.

I'll agree with everyone here that reducing the buildings that score in Foundations of Power is a straight up middle finger to the vast majority of players, and especially aggravating after a series of terrible decisions regarding new features and events over the last several months.

I looked forward to mass upgrades during these chronicle events. The rewards are pretty good if you complete them - a couple pulls from an event store and a full unlock of a new officer. Much better than Officer Depot Tokens in the weekend mat spend slb.

It is nearly impossible to complete today's event free to play. I've upgraded the 3 buildings as much as I can, spent all my wrath credits, and am only 1/4 of the way to the final heroic tier and need to spend 45k rare G6 mats to complete. Would have been GREAT if I could spend Galactic Acclaim, DTI Credits or S31 Access Keys to make up the slack, or upgrade the 6 other buildings that were all removed from scoring.

Terrible idea. Who is making these awful decisions? The number who spend for these events will be dwarfed by those disillusioned by a more difficult to play game. This does nothing to slow down the exodus of players, and makes Conner a liar. We were promised quality over quantity on several occasions.

And on another note, and maybe even more important - what's been removed from scoring for the upcoming events? Are some ship upgrades not going to score? How about Pioneers Crests/MU Dust/Artifacts/Planetary Charts?

Traditionally, you know, a HEADS UP for things that are COMING arrives - and bear with me now, it gets a little complicated - BEFORE the event in question…

Since in this case players have been saving (and that means sacrificing) for weeks for many if not all the scoring items, this is just a gross spit in the face of the player base.
How the virulent player reaction could not have been predicted, is a testament to the fact that NO ONE making these decisions has any idea whatsoever about how this game is actually played by the dwindling population who are sticking around for this flagellation.

This is exactly how you accelerate the decline of your game.
Had these changes been announced at the very start of the arc, ppl may have questioned the changes and argued about them, but would not feel utterly ABUSED as is the case now.

The next official communication from Scopely should honestly be a grovelling apology, and plea not to dump this game once and for all.
Not because it’s a buggy mess that gets frankly worse every update, but because of the way Scopely are treating the player base - with utter disdain and disrespect.
This kind of move should be costing someone their job. They simply don’t belong in this business, and have most definitely just lost you more players.

I reached out to support about outpost control cores not counting for the vengeance is mine SMS as per #🛠-known-issues message

Support closed the ticket saying I had not spent any cores since November 8th, my OCC has gone up two levels since then and I can see in the Spock's Club Sync where I spent those and leveled it up.

One of these is not like the others. G5 having to compete with G6 players, and their higher tier cubes that can beam significantly higher level targets, is ridiculous

People aren't beaming higher level targets to beat you. The best scoring is in jemhadar space using the same strat: solo a DSA and zap the hostiles in the same system.

Beam damage and access to research that modifies it are dependent on cube tier and ops though.

That strat stops working once the cube gets too high, so higher ops lose that advantage and they must be doing theirs in G6 solo spaces. If I were to kill a 60 Jem mada it would only give like 5% charge now, lol.

That's very much irrelevant because of how scoring is done. There's a quirk with the event that counts your cargo when you kill a DSA. The only thing you need to do is be willing to fill your cube up and continue the DSA-Zap loop.

You can see it as wholly unfair, or you can view that performance as proof that 70s do not have an insurmountable advantage. The event really is a lot less about cube advantage than it is about understanding scoring and how to use shady tricks to run up the score.

The battlepass rewards don't change after it starts. If you didn't have the ship built, you would get blueprints. If you build the ship during the battlepass, you still continue getting blueprints, the converter is there to switch the unusued ones to parts.

If you already have the ship, your battlepass should have ship parts, which means you don't need to use the converter.

Lower ops typically have lower syndicate level, so they would need it way more.

Also no way to get the Hierarch, and terrible Nog sourcing. It's transparent what they're doing.

It also takes less syndicate XP to do the lower levels. There is syndicate XP available from other sources, like DTI, which you can start on at ops 42. Truthfully the 51+ events are information overload for me - granted I just got there.

Is Nog useful at T1? I ask because you have to use Outpost loot of some kind to promote that officer. Honestly I don't like having officers I can't promote, but that's just me.

I do also have a question/comment: I'm pretty sure I had extra matrix diodes from before, will people who went to ops 51 after the first week, and didn't have extras, still be able to complete the new missions event? I think the claim is set up for once per week, is it not?

Do you have a pressing need to break into stations? To me, nog is one of my favorite characters in star trek, but in this game, he's pretty low value. I will unlock him, but not because I think he's going to be useful for me. If you need a station cracker, sure, he has abilities that'll help there. Crit chance reduction is useful to get through some of the bigger bases that can rip you apart on the guns.

That happened to someone in my alliance. She put in ticket but it was fixed eventually. Since it was closed by the first rep since they no longer notify you by email when they resond to tickets now. So you end up reopening when you get the working as it should response.

I find basecracking overrated... In Incursion there's always someone higher who'll end up doing it, and if you're doing it yourself and they're actually offline long enough for a raid to make any sense you've got time to send multiple crack attempts if they're a few ops above you. 20,000 apex barrier sounds good, but it's not going to change anything that much compared with existing crews.

Years back raiding for rss was necessary to level up but now day, waste of time!

I get Arena and Incursion done, for the rewards, but even in Incursion raiding is important, but not cracking. If you've got a fully specced amalgam any base worth hitting is a server wide effort, you find it, someone can crack it.

I like to collect all the officers though, so picked up Nog from the Final Synthesis SLB, but goodness knows if I'll ever use him.

Just keep a 12 hour away team on the backburner so you can turn in the daily for it that gives trait XP. Trait XP is the easiest way to KO that BP daily.

I do that regularly.

Or you can pop a 1 day assignment right after the daily reset.

It adds up quick.
