Yeah, Pune is a Warp 13 system, so you can't fly a Warp 6 Realta out of it

you'll need to re-base in a system probably lvl 7 or below

Simple philosophy if the rewards for a event ain't worth it to you then don't bother doing them at all, I've mostly skipped them all apart from the fkr one which was done whilst I did my usual dailies. The rest of the events especially the materials kobayashi maru event simply ain't worth the effort of trying as a ops 49 player.

The Kobayashi Maru and the medal events are either, both or a mix of the 2. You just need 9 points, all 9 medals or first 9 maru milestones work, or any combination up to 9.

At this point, seems like the better move is just to level them up and enjoy their perks. Added bonus: you help everyone else out, bc the day you level them up is the day before Scopely decides to run an unannounced FC event. You'll be a hero to everyone else that's been hoarding 😄

If I understand definition from UrbanDictionary correctly, my reply to @supple token was lacking a key piece of context: who I was intending the information for. It wasn’t for the folks that hang here, it was for folks I play with who always miss or ignore our STFC Announcements channel. I do comms for my alliance & among other things send out a daily bulletin of reminders (eg, TC du jour) or countdowns (eg, Incursions). The people I do not want to hear kvetch live in my AC not this Discord.

I was merely trying to be polite and not insinuate @supple token and/or @cosmic steeple weren’t doing a good enough job with what they do. I’ve played this game for five years and the level of interaction I’ve seen from these two are way above their predecessors and I think they should know it.

In terms of being “an echo brigade”, it’s a turn of phrase I used when I did corporate communications for a fortune 100 company’s tech section. I’d publish but had a network of key peers who would help make sure and help re-echo the info to others that might miss for one reason or another. It was critical when dealing with 5k-7k people across multiple areas & the topic was everyone’s favorite topic: culture change in how tech solutions were going to be designed, implemented, and supported.

technically the rares and epics score in the weekend recruit events, but the points there is so low as to be irrelevant. there's the infrequent armada SMS's/SLB's that score for the rares/epics (as well as normal rares/epics, which are much harder to get), which it's worth keeping a stockpile on hand for.

Once you can start running them (40) the amount of points they add becomes irrelevant. Running rares or epics in the 20s/30s can add up, 40s you use so much unc it is nothing.

It also makes sense why Scopely decided to make the launch offer (200k currency) available throughout the whole arc instead of only first 48 hours.

An additional cool down makes no sense, other than to limit them even more if you miss the time. And to screw up the people who only spend their event store currency at the end, when they are fully aware of what they can actually afford from the event store.

Cool down in the event store is generally not good. It just means that you most likely can't get the items you want, even with the best calculation, and you either end up with leftover credits or have to spend them on junk you don't need.
Which leads to more frustration.

Yep. Try redeeming mirror Data or Picard chest in event store. I have it confirmed from players that got day 1 currency pack that after the 10 chest pull it went on 7d cool down. I am afraid to pull 1 or 5 chest in case it would trigger same cool down so I hoped to get some official information here on how many chest we can open before cool down. However official CM does not seem to be able to help to provide that information

Can dev discuss anything about reducing amount of time in waves? It's over 20 minutes for a good wave. Now having both normal and mirror....It's too much. Maybe something like we can autoskip to wave X if power is above something? Cause for most people it's just a waste of time for the first few. Or we can "bet" more tickets to multiply the results of a wave. Lastly, wave hostile should not count to 2000 daily limit since they don't drop loot

At Tier 4, my Trelium D refinery needs 42k for a single pull. Which means an absolute minimum of 4 trips to MU a day.

Using my T2 Nova and a 30 min timer it takes 14 mins to get to the nearest Trelium D node, and in the remaining 16 mins I can mine 10k before the timer runs out.

In terms on combat my T5 Corvus can pull roughly 9k Trelium D before I run out of hull. And maybe another 2k from chests.

Is this what you planned, a minimum of 4 trips to MU a day, and that's before we even consider Trelium A requirements too?

My Pilum or my monaveen can take out level 50 texas class hostiles all day, but both die instantly on level 38 in waves? Something aint right there. So now, I go to the end of that event 24k less which is a massive swing since most people got less than. 10k from that same SLB.

So now there's no point to enter because I know I won't win. Yet my participation in the FT event was predicated on the idea that it would give me the win. Knowing there's another FT event later this month changes that whole calculation...

The Syndicate XP event fix hasnt worked either - just got 7,500 xp and got 50k in points when it popped up I would get 375k....thought they had fixed this!

Hey @supple token can we have the milestones for the premium dust enhanced? I ran out of tiers last arc, and am maxed again this arc. There’s lessened incentive to compete in the remaining slbs for the month. Maybe reward currency or rations or something if the premium dust can’t be added. Just so that people can continue finding value in the arc. Thanks!

Yes they count. But using multiple ships on solo armadas causes some scoring discrepancies.
