Agree. No one cares about 5th Year campaign. It's like federal government creating white papers that take 6 months to decide what to do and they never execute. About about creating something of real value, like talking to your customers more frequently.

Our issue is our roe affords "moving surveys" protections from PVP regardless of destination or UPC/OPC therefore allowing folks to kite surveys in PVP systems during events while hailing to our score alliances on the ALB. A 1 person alliance is currently 4th on our ALB. So the big argument is whether it's even considered a PVP event with a non PVP option or vice versa.

They can't beyond screen recording which is why we took a vote to remove in transit protections. It failed because the vote was swayed and 5- 1 to 5 person alliances who want the protections in place so they can be viable competitors for PVP events got it shot down.

Our server had a rule to take two screenshots. One while you were at one end of the system and one while you were on the other. If the ship in question didnt move then that was proof.

It is still in our roe but it is no longer required that the attacker take those screenshots only that it is recommended.

Just lost a takeover where the only other participant spent the entire time shielded. Literally didn't fire a shot. We're the 4th largest alliance on the server, the winner is maybe around 10th. TC has a few... issues.

Oh sorry, to be clear, the other top 5 alliances were there protecting them on nodes and killing us whenever we undocked or tried to get into the system. That's about 90% of all the whales on our server

Many missions will exceed your current capabilities. Just keep them stored and come back to them later. When you are ops 30+ you have enough of the Ore to give away for the mission.

1. If Fed is your primary faction, you should be getting some positive Rom rep from killing Klingons. Faction survey hostiles reward more rep than warships.
2. Work on getting a Vidar through Cosmic Cleanup if you haven’t already, as the G3 lucrative mining tokens from the latinum antiques will make that 1.5M ore mission much easier
3. You don’t need a Valkis yet, you can’t build it until Ops 30 and it needs to be almost maxed out to be faster at mining than a Horizon. The main advantage to the g3 faction miners at lower tiers is a larger cargo bay, but you could wait many more ops levels before worrying about them.
4. You’re going to need all the g3 uncommon crystal that a Valkis or Antares would use to upgrade your Saladin, which should be your main ship for a while.

The prior runs I think needed 2-3 runs of the event miniseries to get enough Borg War Funds to get started on the Mega Cube loop. But once you got enough for one launch (10 directives) the Mega Cube Directive Bonus event rewards 10 directives for spending 10 directives.

Hopefully the basic structure of the 1-day events remain the same as before. But since day 1 and the SLB/ALB are extremely similar, I feel a bit better about it remaining so.

this event is an entertainment for a cash cows. Scopley decided to treat them with a lot of meat... But even if you decided to be a part of "treat", you can't get to the pvp system, because at the end of warp your ship is back on station - magic 🧙

So how does this PVP event work? Mine is use Jelly/Franklin/Turas in Cita Laga for PVP and must be attacker. First, the attacker part seems not to be true. I was attacked in a Turas by a Turas and got 30 points after losing. Second, do both players have to be in one of the listed ships? Just the attacker? Just the defender? If a Turas attacks a realta and wins, do both get points? Neither? If a Realta attacks a Turas and wins, do both get points? One? Neither? Could this be any less clear?

Yes.. x1 person ( one person ) bought a pack ( in my leaderboard) .. that person became the winner.. my question is how I got pushed from 1st place to 4th place .. after I messaged you at 5.15 ( 15 mins into the last day of the event ) telling you I was in position number 1.. yet 17 hrs later I got overtook by someone who didn't have any more points than me ?.. in fact 2nd - 5th all had the same points.. but i was 1st to obtain them.. = how can I get pushed down the list?.. side note .. the winner bought his points 50 mins before the end of the event.. he had 20,000 points more than a positions 2- 5.. .. 1st place / people purchasing packs is not the issue.. I theoretically finished the event ( obtained maximum points ) at 5.14... ( the 1st to finish) .. and all positions 2-5 obtained the same points.. = how did I loose position 2 ?

I'd like to let you know that some players prefer to grind before the event ends because some players on the leaderboard are AFK. Again, we found no issue, discrepancy, or anomaly during the leaderboard event.

thats not exactly true... scopely doesnt handle ties real well... what you are suggesting would be a great way to determine who got X points first (and thus one of the ways to break the tie), but Scopely basically doesnt do any logic to handle the tie... and in fact its pseudo-random as to who gets the "win" in a tie situation.

So players wasting directives on broken foundation armada's is not an issue because they make money off that but incursions can't go forward because of the battle log issue? But with clocks going back an hour on Sunday, does this mean incursions line up with reset? Reset is at 11am or 12pm ET (after the time change?)

I think the time is accurate, irregardless of when other events will be resetting that day

A lot of people like incursions. It’s just like anything else, the people who are unhappy with it voice their feedback, while the people who are happy with it are just having fun and not jumping to leave feedback.

If it was scheduled on an day with nothing else, and you got a “take part or shield” token, you’d get fewer complaints, no one should care if they miss out on a day, that it’s often not wise to is what makes it rankle people

Oh me neither, have to accept that being blown up is part of the game, but outside of the usual, 0 node and opc, if someone decides to always go after you, its clearly TDS rather that part of the game, in just the same way as if someone at work spends all their time belittling you when there are other staff they can share the harassment with
