Send multiple ships out, do multiple missions at same time, ignore the mission convos, finish asap, close game, watch a film.

each mission is a separate storyline from the other missions, with the exception of 1 that is a continuation from a story of the last LD arc.
no need to do them in a particular order, just do them in the order you want to do them.

Every month: add ship, add loop, add currency, add epic officers, charge $99 for each piece, and you still can't do enough to make it worth the time investment.

Their idea of "new and exiting" is "now you lose your shield!" instead of "hey, here's an actual new feature!" Say what you want about Hailing Frequencies but at least it was something actually new added to the game. Not another research, ship, or pile of epic officers you can't source ever.

They've been in a game development copy-paste loop for years now. The base game hasn't evolved one bit.

No idea what ops you are. You might have a point. But when I encountered 90 minutes of ‘mandatory’ grind for an sms in the past, it always was bcs that I had neglected some kind of research or spend too much on buildings instead of ships. As Ops49 and for a long time f2p, that event cost me 10 minutes tops. Just give some love to the Voyager, use Janeway and B’leanna. And most importantly, use Grush if you can reach a higher level hostile.

Maybe its just me, but the scoring for these formation armadas needs to change.

My alliance did formation armadas for hours, sometimes 2 at a time on our baby server for both days of the events. We dominated the top 20 in all the SLB's that our members were in.

Yet despite this the #2 alliance on our server can roll in, spend over 1k in the store and just be handed 1st place for that.

Is that really a fair system? I mean, I get that you want to encourage your spending but its a bit extreme when an ALB rather than an SLB can literally be bought by 2 people and totally negate the efforts of seventy people lmao. Or am I wrong?

We finally took the lead this morning and got 1 mil ahead. You know what their response was? To just drop 200 more into the store and go ahead by 7mil points. Not complaining about people spending money, we have plenty that spend. But just for ALB's specifically its hard to agree with it being one or two peoples wallet vs an entire alliance's efforts and hard work.

Not unexpected at all. They’ve always had 💩 sourcing for ‘must have’ pvp officer events. Its not an accident. What IS new is putting two of them in the same month, and only having one week of spend events per officer. Even in a world with Dukat and Weyoun sourcing as precedents, this is setting a new low.

Creating fake scarcity to force people to spend $ is what they do. So far I had been able to somewhat keep up in pvp, but this is a sledgehammer to anyone who was ftp or low/mid spend. I always knew I wouldn’t keep up in the world of stfc pvp, but today is the day I bow out. Sucks, but oh well. There are other games to pvp in.

They have lots of analysts working at Scopely, I have to assume this is what they wanted. Someone like me who is willing to spend $100 every 2-3 months or so just isn’t their target demographic. Its not fun being told you aren’t wanted, but I’m not going to whine about it past this post. I’ll just go spend my money with other companies’ who want it. Back to Baldur’s Gate 3. Also recommend Starfield for those wanting the sci-fi feel.

But when rewards started going south in March, locked up my spending really quickly. By June I was spending more time playing Fallout. You know what solves that problem? Consistent releasing of accurate and complete event calendars. People get upset when you change/cancel events with no communication, and I know most people dislike no notice surprise events.

If the primary goal for the lack of transparency on events is to get people to spend, then I recommend improving rewards greatly, be clearer/consistent on when an event will not run again, and stop trying to abuse FOMO on everything.

Noooo. Past experience has been that they add a fix for one arc, then address the issue through BP for the next. I can’t count the number of changes to events that were for one arc only.

They either add a chest, or temp-fix the event. Next arc, event works as originally intended and it’s on us to figure that out
