Could be, except that the graphic for the event includes a category (mine is "03"). That is player level specific, but once they've identified which category to put you in, the contents should be determined by that category, and not need another query. But this is Scopely, so who knows?

This race event has been so poorly communicated to players it's a joke. No one knows what's happening or how to take part. And now it's the final it's the same again no communication about it or anything. This would not be so bad if the event info was good but it's not. Prime example everyone on our server is no asking if Thai is just 1 race for the final or if it's every 2 hours again and if so how the scoring will work for the final.

You're not attacking it. To get points, an Explorer needs to attack an Interceptor, then the player needs to win. Any Interceptors grinding in Augment space will score, FYI.

Arc stores have been pretty bad as a trend, one or two have actually been good and felt rewarding to everyone, and even that took an entire month of people hounding eco here telling him what SHOULD be in the event stores, and what again is NOT in this event store.

Even a 💩y exchange rate on event loot for special building materials would actually go over really well with a very large portion of the community, know what isn’t even being asked for this time around? Additions to what people would like to see in the event stores.

The complete mishandling of the “final” for the realta event is a prime example of just not even caring. Huge groups of people and entire servers were hosed on that. Guess what? Crickets.

Game is permanently broken on so many aspects. Scopely doesnt care to fix them. They are only interested in scraping in as much $$$ as possible. They dont like feedback from players. If they would, they would be present in chats like these and would have had game support that actually supports.
Main goal of support is to structurally nag the players so they wont bother anymore to send tickets, as they hardly ever give a solution to a problem. Their reactionthey are taking your issues seriously and try to fix them are plain lies.

Communication is almost totally absent. Like the final of the realta event. Players who dont use discord didnt even het any info on the qualifiers and final. The ingame bullitin board ia perfect for that, but scopely simply refuses to use that.

Quality control is totally absent. They structurally throw events on us that aren’t even fit for alpha testing. If i wold have worked ar scopely, i would be so ashamed of the company, i wouldt dare to mention i work there to my friends. But i would have quit there long ago anyway

I can't speak for the dev team cause I've got no connections to them. As a player, I can tell you that there's only one formation armada event I see running right now, which is a leaderboard. If they weren't starting armadas, they were unlikely to ever place meaningfully even in past runs.

I wasn't gonna elaborate but since the scoring change has remained, player ships who were queued in a full leg in excess of its 4/4 capacity were scoring 15k per ship first run of this. These ships were not actually in the armada for combat, just the queue. Multiply your docks by 15k and you'll see why they removed this metric. I'm making assumptions they learned of this of course, but I think it's a safe assumption.

This js not a bug. Players have 15 minutes to defeat each Q trial hostile. The timer is meant to allow a player to try a few different times if they lose the first time, and the "exploit" is intentionally losing over and over again until the timer runs out. The change to prevent that would be scoring off the number of Q hostiles defeated.

I have one that never despawned that I could not defeat, but if I wanted to self drain myself repairing a ship I could theoretically throw myself at it forever to rack up the damage score. its still floating there now dont think it will ever go away, there are a few more but I could defeat those and now if I try to target them it briefly disappears and shows “target lost” error. opened a ticket to ask them to clean it up that got a generic response after 3 weeks and closed immediately with no resolution

The Q trials exploit I found came from the 2* trials with the actian hostiles. Couldn't destroy them they couldn't destroy me so I got 10-12 attempts during each 15 minute trial bells. Came 2nd behind another exploiter.

Well, to achieve that I have some other suggestions like:

1. Implement the “lucky shot”… Even a Realta should have a (tiny) chance to kill a G5 epic ship
2. Implement a “surprise attack”… The attacking ship gets a 1 round of attack without retaliation
3. Implement a “missed shot”… it’s quite strange that all shots are always hitting the target
4. What about armadas against player base stations? Do we really think that in reality a base station will always be attacked by a single ship?

These are just few examples

I can imagine that whales won’t be too happy about those, though

It says use armada directives, uncommon 100 points per, rare 200 point per, epic 500 points per.

It does not say use solo armada directives

It states in box scoring box 2. Armada directives. (does not say solo armada directives, exchange directive, borg directives or borg expansion cube directives or borg solo armada directives)

Ie. Cardassian, fkr, independent klingon burial ships swarm armadas, and armadas in territory capture space all require normal directives

They do not require special directives

Their clue is the fact that it says at the bottom of the text that Exchange, Borg and Doomsday Group armadas do not score. Plus whenever they include solos it will say Solos count or have 2 seperate scoring factors one that says Spend solo directives and another that says Spend regular directives
