Restarting the game every time you start an armada is not a viable way to play. Restarting works for about 3 minutes then it lags to such an extent your Restarting again. Hostile grinding atm is almost impossible

Oh it is. The cardassian systems just aren't used as much, so there are always ones waiting to spawn in when you hit them.

They do not respawn instantly unless no one has been hitting in that system. New spawns queue after so much time, but we have so many more directives for exchange armadas and they get used so much more, that it just seems like the others spawn faster. Really they are using the same spawn timers. We do need more systems, but before Scopely went to the expense of adding more systems, they probably wanted feedback from the player base before doing anything that was going to cost money.

We are never going to get everything we want right away, because there is a dollar sign attached to every adjustment they make. If you are sick of the corporate greed, that's fine. Plenty of other games out there, but this is generally how F2P/P2W games work. Yeah, they haven't adjusted it, because they had nothing new to make money over, but now they do.

Up until now, most of the heavy spenders have moved on from outlaw. Scopely had no incentive to adjust it.

They could easily just change the hostiles of the three systems no one uses on the far left to lvl 40 hostiles (or higher) and populate them with armadas. If they wanted to do it, they would have long ago.

It's more than that. Those systems were used for missions. They have to adjust all those missions, which, again, costs money. Not to mention, we need more armada systems too, which would require them to redo all the graphics for the systems as well.

In fact, I doubt they change those systems at all and instead add new systems.

God forbid they actually prepare in advance for it. 🙄 The problem has existed for as long as the events have existed. They shouldn't have launched a weekly series before fixing the problem. Especially on a day that started with unusual lag in Europe at 4:30 am EST that never get fixed and slow rolled across everyone. We had chat messages not showing up, a higher rate of game crashes than usual (who knew that was even possible?), I couldn't join an Eclipse armada I started even after multiple restarts, and it was cancelled...the whole thing was another Scopely SNAFU

In anycase, it's cheaper for them to fix it once after getting a ton of feedback instead of fixing it multiple times. The almighty dollar is, of course, the corporate religion.

I was looking for information regarding the Apex Research Medals and saw your question. This isn't necessarily the answer to your original question.
I believe the answer would have been, before the introduction of Apex Thursdays, 50 Apex Trophies for doing all SMS events and 25 additional Trophies for completing the AMS. So 75 In total. AFAIK, players don't get more Trophies going up in Ops. You only get more Apex Research Medals per chest when going up in Ops.

When he signed up, I don't think it linked, so his webstore has a different ScopleyID.

Question is, how to move his player id to link to his second Scopley id.

I think in game if you select switch account, you log in with different credentials.

Please take a note down to fix the in game timers to maych your monthly schedules so that what we see inside the game is reflective of the real schedules and when events will end.

Is it possible you were looking at the top level folder? It shows whatever event is about to expire, not the length of the event. An SMS set to expire at reset will be replaced with an SLB timer at reset. It happens somewhat regularly

Yup, just hit 30 and the elite recruits showed up, and the ultra recruits updated with new officers. It’s a good idea to unlock Pike before 30. The officers at 30 are great, but with so many added it dilutes the ability to get Pike(who is super useful)

If you are close to getting Moreau to T3, I also advise to stay at 29 to finish that tier before moving up. Unlike Pike you cannot get there from any other place than recruit chests, and on lvl 30 the amount of possible recruits just about doubles, so getting her shards is really slow

As silly/cliche as this might sound to some, I see myself as a person who pushes Scopely to provide a better game for the players. I'm not the only one. There are the moderators here on this discord, couple content creators, etc, but we're conduits for player feedback. Rage sometimes, but also positive feedback. This was an example of positive feedback that, even though it was requested, ends up being wasted.

For me, I take it personally. I could talk to different people, twist different arms, etc. You do have to choose the battles you pick with game design/ops/etc., but I still hate that feeling that I failed the community. I really do take pride in what I am and what I do as a content creator, with any game I'm working with. Like I said it might be silly or cliche to some.

I don't think revamping is the solution, since the hostile levels are consitent with the system levels and there are folks that still need them. They should have added more of the higher level systems and/or new even higher level systems with or before this event update. It has a lot of promise, but they just made it worse.

Those are extra systems and those level hostiles are already represented in multiple other systems. The three in question could easily be made 39/40 systems and anyone with a stella past a first scrap could easily hit them too, and give people 5 systems to score quickly in.

Just a thought, how about turning these 3 completely empty and useless exchange systems into lvl 40 armada systems. Keeps the entire server from having to go to ONE system every Thursday. Seems reasonable and EASY.

This would have been fine when exchange was first added. Now 3/4 of my alliance can single ship most of the exchange armadas so everyone is in lvl 38 and 40 systems

Please fix the not being able to see armadas issue. It's too the point that I have to reboot my phone (closing the app, clearing localization has not effect) which means there is a hefty mamory leak in play within your code @modest frost Multiple alliance mates, as well as many others are reporting that is the only fix for them as well.

fix the lag...! spent 200 directives on a rare.. waited 7mins then the eclipse amada counted down till the last second and DISAPPEARED! @modest frost are we able to get refunded of the directives spent becoz of malfunctioning eclipse armadas?

the lag is being caused by teh sheer number of ships in just a few systems. If this APEX thing was an SMS and not an SLB, we woudln't ahve this issue. peple would finish their SMS and leave.

we have chats not showing up (which makes running armadas very difficult for an allience) we have armadas that aren't targetable and thus noone can join unless they reboot their phone (which menasa there is a significant memory leak at play here, which should concern EVERYONE) no warning that an armada is already open against a target, resultign the loss of directives and of course support is non-responsive and unhelpful.

Agree the revamp ÆPEX event with more mudd systems for lv40 armadas would have been a huge success. The weekly Thursday event though is a nice format. Makes stella loop worthwhile again.

Waiting, waiting, waiting to jump on a spawned armada is not my idea of fun. So I hope Scopely add systems sooner than “coming soon.”

They aren't useless. When I was lower level, they were great for farming keys and grinding XP. The amount of eclipse ships there exceeds any other system.
