to be fair...Scopely said back in November that they heard our complaints about Franklin PVP but wanted to run the event one more time before making changes. Then it got canceled in December and January because of base glitches. So people assumed that while they were fixing those, they would also make the event changes, and that was an incorrect assumption.

@fast tiger Franklin PVP is easy you just find a player from another server and PM to meet you in a designated system and you take turns blowing each other’s Franklin up to get points then arrange to do the same when you switch over to their server, it’s an elegant solution to outsmart the whales

Incursion AMS event does not score for completing the SMS events at all. Just from wins. That is making it extremely hard to finish, as SMS is 1000 points and win / loss 18 / 9 or 6 / 3 points depending on which server you are on. So if the event does not get pulled back, be prepared that you need to have like 100 pvp battles with at least half of them win if you are in a very big alliance... or even more in smaller alliances if you want the AMS finished.

The incursion building etc. Is therefore many levels too low and now the leaderboards xslb are screwd again. So they again will get less or no reward for this incursion to upgrade it.

On our server I have spent hours and two transfer tokens. My time (and my alliances) we will not get back, will we get the tokens back?

The problem is they are thinking about how many packs they think they can sell not stuff that actually works. If they actually released good content that actually works and had a more reasonable approach to pricing of packs, new content, and the amount of screen time required, they'd probably sell more packs in the long run!

@pseudo rune @modest frost scopely need to take incursions and put them in a box, put that box in a bigger box then put that box in a weighted bag, THEN take the guy who thought up incursions and handcuff him to the bag.....go hire the aircraft from a coastal based parachuting club and then fly the bag and the ideas man out to sea and when over 50 miles out throw them out the aircraft. WHY do this you may ask? well its simple incursions almost completely exclude what 75-80% of players on any server, yes the guys below lvl 25 cant take part BUT neither really can the F2P guys because they are already lagging behind the guys who can afford to buy pack after pack and boost their bases/ships 10-15 lvls above the mid lvl F2P guys (I am F2P and currently stand at lvl 31) why would I turn out to face folks from another server who are also 10-15 lvls above me whos ships I cant even warm their shields? You have to remember the F2P guys are the meat for the normal server activity if they quit the game in droves then the guys at say lvl 40-46 (on my server) will have no one to snack on to gain the rss they need to upgrade and maintain their mega bases/ships and the game will die because all they will be able to do is buy pack after pack and eventually they will get fed up of paying for it. How can I say this you may ask well I have been playing games on compters for over 40 years I still remember playing them under DOS and having to alter the way my 48k (yes 48K I think thats the number I remember) of memory in the pc to different setting for each new game that came out so I have litterally seen it all (well 99.99% of it) and it is my humble opinion that STFC is one of the most broken games ever to apear on my horizon its only saving grace is its statrek based otherwise I would be long gone.

ok here is a serious idea for scopely borrowed from World of Tanks, build a test server open to players who apply where they can run the biggest and best stuff (given for free for the test) and test the coding of upcoming patches/game improvemetns and repairs to flawed events it should be open to players from any and all servers but you will need acceptance and a code to get in........... may help in providing better and tested content just saying

Now if I want the exo, I need one armada. That's a 500k run. And I miss one day of faction credit. Or 1 million run per day to get one armada day.

The only exception I might see as an exception is where there’s a very early pre-announcement it wasn’t happening (I think@November or December would fall in that category).

Perhaps what I’m remember has been changed or what I would assume to be channels dedicated to feedback are called something else. Ex: I think this channel should be about events but it appears to be the kvetching catch-all. Under Feedback Space I just see Incursions.

I can’t remember the name of the exec/person @pseudo rune had interviewed that was very data driven. If the feedback is able to be transformed into data that would be awesome.

FWIW: My memory goes back to the beginning of the server and while details can be hazy, I know that things have been changed/reorganized (often for reason that make great sense … like replacing channels dedicated to server channels to just a channel listing links to server specific Discord servers).

Great job, once again scoply. Eclipse armada event. They do not populate to everyone on the server the same. It's not player connections either, to many players having the same issue. Then the cherry on the top.. they take forever to populate too. Longer then normal, probably due to the amount if activity in those systems. .. Preparation is key to success.. just saying.
