I did not notice something was wrong. I read the metrics as they were listed and acted on them. For all I know scoring is scaled for higher levels that can do the bigger armadas. I came here initially to report it, and learned of the issue afterwards

Some more context if you didn’t read it all, I defeated a 44 afterwards which did give 4200pts making it pointless (excuse the pun) for using the first 100 directives. Everyone knows handful of adv biotics does not equal rare directives… that’s why I asked to be issued them back for the error made by Scopely. A good customer service response would have taken care of me as a paying customer. Unless they don’t want to have a paying customer…

They are not spares from previous months. I started this arc with zero and now have 200 leftover after getting all missions I can just from this arc - they were in the BP rewards this month. Was the ops 50 mission 200 diodes? Thats the only mission I cant get due to being ops 43. Just strange to get 200 extra diodes in a single BP unless that one mission cost 200. Makes me think there was another mission planned at some point that was pulled pre-deployment and they forgot to adjust the diode outputs in the BP 🙂.

Your job is a tough one. Very tough. Lots of vitriol from upset players, I get it. But as a player you should understand, that when wrong events are posted up and taken down, wrong descriptions are given and players don't get points, or just the 100 other things scopely messes up on the regular... it isn't the players fault for how they act. that is 100% scopely driven issues. No need to vent on the player base that is venting at you as an official moderator of this server, which is supposed to be an official discord rep of the game.

No. Out of all ticketed events they did 99% of them ALWAYS give more (usually double) amount crystal than gas or ore. There was only once a ticketed event I know of where gas and ore were the same amount as cry but that was only due to cry amount being on the lower end for some reason which was probably a bug which again Scopely didn't want to admit.
They claimed they would "rotate" rewards including materials a while back then. But they never did and likely never will.
I don't get what's their damn issue with simply swapping the big reward material type when new ticketed events are up...

They all work out fairly equally across the game when you look at the macro. The individual units of research / ship / building might make it seem like crystal is needed more, but you need larger quantity of ore for example, for buildings. Larger quantity of gas for research, etc. At the end all equal requirements in total.

I'm not sure if this was answered, but the purple Rogue space, Leone specifically, has the lowest level hostiles. You can also go to Pricipium northwest of Rogue space for the 27s. Leone, Tombstone, and Valance are all lower systems though.

Hey guys. I'm OPs 52 and I have a feeling that either Scopley have made a foul up on points allocation or have made made a mistake with milestones. I have done all the Borg Events and am 1200 points short of completing the SMS. By my Maths with events left, that would leave me 300 short of completing the SMS. I did not get the Infimitus refit as I already had it so no idea if that allocated points and I think I also only got 100 points for the first borg mada run that would tally with my thinking of being short. Anyone else had issues here?

Happened to me too: due to the Event structure and hidden doors everywhere I missed two events. I hate the grouping there. Some days there is something to do - others there isn‘t.

question with regards to heavy hitter:
I am by far the strongest, but obviously not the smartest or most knowledgeable, player on our server.
I tested swarms, vs. level 49 transporters from capital, vs. actians, vs Borg Probes vs. uncommon solo borg-madas.
What I have not tested yet, are the old group borg armadas or rare/epic solo borg madas.
A player from our server made in the same time I was grinding the most efficient way from what I tested above, which were swarms, 7 times as much points at heavy hitter. I certainly can tell I have the better crew, the better research and the stronger ship.
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the new projectiles unlocked? Does he have them unlocked? With the projectile, I believe you score 10 points per critical damage on any hostiles. I think our player who had the projectile was scoring on Immortals in higher DS.
Also, if projectiles are not a concern, scan his ship to see if he has Hugh below deck. If he does and you do not, well.. that should be about right.

There were higher level missions which these would have covered. Instead of having them there to purchase and archive for later like all the others, they completely hid them until you're the right level. So you'll just have to hold onto the diodes until then.

Your fine with 3100 points as other events count too for Borg-EMS like FC-EMS-EVENTS
