Funny you mention that, for curiosity I checked another server alliance and their top power player, a lvl 75...and i see it had 2k missions done, 75k hostiles killed, and over 400k sent helps...which means, the account had been active for many years to get the 400k helps in, the person somehow pushed to 75, and barely did any pve......that is most certainly an 'employee' account, or what I call, a 'pusher'

If this was an MMORPG that would be likely, 25 years ago in Everquest you would see a bold red named character which identified it as a dev. who would run around checking for exploits, game bugs, disputes between players etc. However, they did not join players/alliances to do game content. Now, we are in the midst of pay to win by companies following a very aggresive monetization business model.

yep I've seen those 3rd party programs as I noticed one player on my server was auto mining, auto grinding, and had a ridiculous high number of helps, a lot of other things indicated he was auto playing. This is before the artificat for auto grinding.

I was just on the EQ Legends discord, everyone is talking about the change in game mechanics, what classes to choose, alliance builds etc, and the game is only in beta and just recently on youtube to watch. This game is just constant agony about bugs, lag, broken mechanics, pay walls etc

you can't interact with them though but you can see it when you login if you tap it fast enough but then it hides pretty quick.

We said the same about when Paradox Interactive announced Star Trek: Infinite - It's a Home Run, they can't screw it up. All they have to do is take their concepts from Europa Universalis and/or Crusader Kings and put a Star Trek Theme Pack over it and they are good to go. They and i kid you not screwed it up in less then five months after the Game launched. Some Developers/Companies are not capable of not screwing up on a daily base as you can see here.

Stargate is one of those IPs where you can see so many Games being in development and never reach the Full Release. i think sg just got dropped down a well and forgotten about. it was a stable universe with a huge chunk of good scifi loaded in there. they didn't make any games recently on it, and that bad boy would be PERFECT for an mmo. maybe just an rts. but i could see the game in my head if i think about it long enough. maybe even a 3rd person shooter. 007 seems to be hitting right now for people and that game's really close to what we got in the 2000s and stopped seeing around 2010 and 2012. that genre wants games. but the SG brand needs to come back. at least a series.

Both Ships have their value if you want to hit higher (Armadas, Hostiles) and like one single weekly event. Otherwise both ships collecting many times just dust i would say.

The idea of IA is to reduce time spent in old loops so you can focus on new loops. Mantis IA saved overall 1 click which was the bulk refine button….

Cerritos and Titan and Defiant are ships you will never stop using and like mantis would only save you one click, the bulk refine option.

Well Cerritos nothing really unless they archive the recruit chest, but seen as they didn’t for mantis it’s doubtful

Realistically the only last 2 old loops they can add to reduce grind is NX and Stella

Has anyone here unlocked either of the V'ger Challenge Sweeps? If so, are they worth it or are they a bait/switch like the FKR daily mining researches from the Squall? Im mostly asking if you know how they are work, specifically how does it effect the level-dependent tasks. Is it basically you complete the V'ger Search/Destroy challenge and it counts for the other tasks, or is it like the Freebooters/FKR where you can complete it, but by only killing hostiles of the same or higher level?

For example: My Excelsior is T9.......... So I have to kill at at minimum 10 Level-66 Fighters for the daily search/destroy Excelsior task. I am Ops 69......... so I have to kill at least 10 level-69 Hurak/Gorn/etc to complete the hostile task.

So does that mean that with the Sweep research I can kill the same 10 level-66 fighters for the Excelsior task that I already do and it will also satisfy the hostile challenge..... OR does it simply mean I can kill 10 fighters, but to count for the challenge they have to be level 69... so not really saving me from doing both if I cant kill level 69 fighters with the Excelsior?

How is it an unreasonable expectation? I'm not expecting a full overhaul of the loop this arc introduces or a revamp on game loops. Just saying "Hey, it's could that you made this feature people have been asking, mind removing the requirement part of it?". I'm honestly curious, do you feel that the game is in a great state and that the average player is satisfied with the direction the game is going? Because I can tell you that even their own VP admitted the state of the game is an embarrassment. In light of that you should maybe consider why some people are frustrated at scopely nickle and dimining a long sought after requirement. No it isn't the biggest hurdle but the hurdle shouldn't be there in first place. Scopely will need to make a big and consistent good faith effort if they hope to stop STFC's downward spiral and this certainly isn't the way.
