the problem with speciality ships at mid ops is not the parts and speed of development, it's ops locking. That's why development stops (apart from Vidar maybe)

This is one of the few games I have played where we can't swap between alliance members. Like I have so much stuff I can't refine (like silent or transogen loot that is ops locked) I would gladly gift to a G4 to refine. Even with a tax. (They all tax this process)

i think they use claude and gemini to write the code for the game and provide some existing sample of it to the ai. that's why things get broken. the ai goes back and tries to write some of it but they've messed with the game too much themselves. there's little that can be done short of climbing through the whole thing.

I believe part of the game’s issues is the bloat. Retire the Kelvin Timeline stuff- delete the swarm systems.
Additionally, we don’t need the Klingon burial ships, the doomsday worms , and other junk not off the top of my head.
Use a thing that was apparently done before I started playing (picked the game up mid-TNG Klingon arc— Martok, Gowron, Duras Sisters etc) where they did a “leftover currency” exchange. Clearing up everyone’s inventory would clear a LOT of space on the servers.

The only useful thing about territory that I have found is that the three star areas have generators that produce blueprints that you can turn in refined ISO for in your alliance store but other than that it's more of a bragging rights to me

The only useful ship prints I've seen from the alliance store would probably be the eviscerator the meridian and then the other ones but ships like the nsea and other powerful ships like that have to be bought or spent on an Event tokens when a store comes out usually around the last part of the ARC

You're right about one thing there are too many grinds in the game. And in some part I think when they came out with the free booters they were trying to figure out a way to eliminate all those grinds by killing one type of enemy so you can complete all your dailies which did happen but they come out with more ships with even more grinds so it's a never ending struggle

Those are the most completely useless ships in the game you can't even scrap the damn things

It did for a lot of us because you can go into free booter space and kill one enemy and complete all your dailies in one run

Or as the in the old days you had to mine this in that area go kill these many enemies then go kill more stuff that was aggravating and that was killing the whole grind for many players

So in that part they got that part right but for everything else I've learned that everything is not really worth going after

im enjoying the excelsior (FTP path) simply because its increasing the drip drastically, while not increasing hte grind exponentially)

If I could recommend a ship for me to recommend to other players it would definitely be the NSEA ship. Why you ask because for one when you get to mirror space you can grind faction rep.. I like to go to mirror romni or the one right up above it to the left Chevron or something like that. And you didn't have to forcibly force yourself to grind against one faction after the other you can just do all three by killing those ships so in that part it was a major help in boosting players ability to gain rep faster and unlock newer ships faster

nsea and reliant are basically all you need to go to 70

you can use relativity to get even faster

When you're having to raid people or doing incursions to get enough resources just to upgrade one or two weapons on a G5 ship or get enough materials just to upgrade a module in your base you'll understand the struggle

If you're going to spend money in this game I would recommend opening up your tabs. Buy you as many research tabs as you can get and just buy one extra builder, because there will come a time when you get up around level 60 where you'll be lucky if you have enough mats to share between buildings research and ship upgrades
