sure, I have maxed maverick research for 71 now, but I suspect it doesn't help that much for 72's, I switch FCs to Janeway and Lorcas, Sloan buffs to armada and with max titan and few cerri buffs, it's pretty doable, E-Troi even without synergy takes care of their crit anyway
