even if my crit reduction were around 100% halving all the incoming damage, with only 30B hull+shield that would only amount up to 30B points in total with normal grind...
not killing an enemy at all and just reducing the biggest hit you can reach gives more points than getting loot...

as i said, your liveops team is a little bit... lets call it, suboptimal in terms of game knowledge

Here's the thing the old way if you played in the afternoon or evening time The chances of you getting any kill was slim to none. So any of the quest that required you to do PVP was basically impossible.

Ok now that you people at Scopely have listened to your players (finally) on the verrrrry unpopular changes to the incursion scoring and have restored the usual scoring methodology, now its time to actually FIX the incursion scene as a whole...Your devs of all people should know this is a 24 hour a day game!!!!
By limiting it to 12 hours you are cutting out entire swaths of the player base, and (in economic terms) shooting yourselves in the foot!
We all know those who spend on the game support the playing of those who are unable to... but many on my server have witheld the funds they would normally use for incursions due to the drastic changes out of the blue. The changes altered the fundamental play of the game in instant A and B cut a good 1/3 of the Entire participation base due to your extremely unpopular 12 hour period, in a 24 hour game. Please listen to your players!!!!
None of us it seems liked either change n I see the reaction from the rank n file made you reverse course immediatly! Now do the decent thing for your player base n return the other part of incursions that you Nerfed and restore the 24 hour time period so my players can all participate equally no matter their work and life schedules... I reference the post immediately before mine as a case in point.
