one workaround I've found for the dauntess stopping in surges like that is to exit/restart the client. It should start killing again as soon as you get back into the game.

Just so you know, scopely is so focused on progression that they didn't even give me points for events that I can document that I completed. Yes I tried to open a ticket. I haven't heard anything back. But just know they're real serious about this progression including taking things away from you that you actually completed. it's good for swarm dailies, and swarm events (not sure if they happen at your level). Hard to upgrade. Also very significant benefit at low ops is if you complete Independent Archives tree you get 300% hull bonus total (for all ships). Pretty neat at lower ops. So it's generally fun ship
