from what i have seen of pieces of their coding... it's in different areas all over the game causing issues. writing things further down in the build pertaining to something earlier. bad punctuation. and in some cases, code that does nothing at all and seems to be made up.

So let me see if I understand this. This is the only weekend for a spend event for the new officers and it is a random chance to get him or unlock him. In fact, in average, you can not unlock him!!! In fact, the battlepass has no shards and you only get 10 of him and 100k para tokens for pulls and he is only 40% chance at pulls which is only another 8 more shards.

Yes, if you turn in 360k tokens, you will get 20 more shards. Even out of thst 360k tokens, you will only get an average if 30 shards....plus the 20 from th3 single turn in, so a total if 60 shards!

Any ops 70 having any meaningful luck in doing refines for new loop? Best I can get after various crew tests and academy drone targets is 5k (vs 95k needed for 1 refine), I target L62 (63s take off half hull). Using 25B borg cube to hit 62s and then beam 2 61s for free.
63s for now do too much crit damage (until building is higher which requires refines - catch 22) and would require a lot more shield / or higher tier g6 epic (currently T7)

Hey Scopes! Fat Dolphin here....Ops 71.....have spent off and on over the years. Was on the fence purchasing the challenge track pass.... I can tell you with 1000% certainty, I will NEVER purchase it. First I need Leslie to clear the v'ger hostiles for today (Orion). Secondly, the pass feels like you can get screwed over real easily if you don't know what you are doing in terms of claiming it. Third, I completely understand and respect the need to balance the game, removing Leslie from the mix is not it. Adjust Leslie's ability in future content - 100% on board with that. Its a slap in the face for all the time put into the game to have a mechanic stripped away over night. Why would I spend on a relatively established mechanic when something could change on a dime? Currently, I do not have a Vengeance. My Ent-E is T9. Have tried multiple crews and nothing works. I am also considering not purchasing the new battle pass moving forward as a result of Leslie being nerfed. Its your right to change things in the game.....Doesn't mean you should. I am not one to complain about this game. Normally I see the big picture, and do not get excited in the moment because things will work out. • Removed choice reward tokens
• Removed usefulness of officer depot tokens (best officer sourcing mechanic in the game's history)

• Removed rerolls from Alliance Tournaments

All the while, you:

• Added new mechanics no one asked for
• Added more bugs (even the repair button still doesn't work as expected, jumping through hoops to claim your event rewards)
• Added G5 scrapping, many years later, killing a cherished progression avenue

In the meantime, actual Quality of Life features that players asked for remain unreleased and no one is working on them:

• Stability
• Less bugs
• Paying off technical debt (rethink architectural decisions, evolve the game engine, establish a proper testing strategy)
• Batch (faction and regular) stores claiming
• Old/legacy cosmetic acquisition
• More independent archives tracks
• UX improvements

I think there is strategy behind the changes :

• they got rid of the player council (no player council worth its name would have approved the recent changes)
• Events like cota gave to many officer shards -> gone
• Choice rewards / depot token > replaced with random drawing
• starting an arc where a lot of people can't progress without paying (that never happend in the 4 years i'm playing)
• leslie : became to strong in certain situations. (That was pure helplessness)

All in all, thats a clear strategy to create more revenue. I expect alliance Tournament to go the same route.

Typical Scopely reply. We know there are issues but on a positive side look at the nice sparks it added to the game. Looks like fireworks.

What I want to know is what info goes back to scopely from this Discord ? Do they just get a everything went ok this weekend... Had some minor bugs, players ok. Or do they get the real feedback from the player base . Or do they just look at packs sold not worrying about the rest... If not what is the route for players to let them know what is actually happening on the ground?

Have we had a Scopay reply? All I’ve seen are the CM’s & Mods waffling whatever they’ve been ordered to say, no actual explanation from anyone with actual knowledge of why what’s happening is happening.
