I'm cool and work at it, and did purchase low level ones like armada directives. What people don't get is this whole thing cost the developers alot. Servers cost money, the developers and code programmers cost money, the utilities for the server systems, etc so I can see why some things cost to help support the cost of providing this

I understand server cost, developer time, etc because I'm a Python developer.
CS is the worst... and I know what a good CS organization is... closing tickets just to keep your numbers internally looking good to management is a Krap show.

i will tell you this. i strongly advise you not to get into the habit of buying packs purely for mats to lvl up. it is a highly addictive pattern

that is certainly a thought but I doubt they would get more than they bargained for and tons of people openly mocking them for their code (oh wait, that already happens)... While I understand they are somewhat pythonic coders, coding to the unity game engine I am sure is a bit specialized to begin with, and they might not get much worthwhile help (for free).
I certainly know that my company's app has a steep learning curve and it takes a while for people to become self-sufficient.

I reinstalled the game and put it in a different folder than the recommended one, now it's saying it can't update. Do I have to reinstall it again with the recommended folder destination, or is there a way I can download the update separately?

Gaming industry wise, when someone is promised This and that and its on the roadmap, and then loads of other things that were never on the road map take priority so the road map thing (g5 scrapping) takes a back seat. that tends to mean it was never planned and sold as fake news.

And sometimes it is better to say something like: There will be no G5+ scrapping. G4 scrapping was a great mechanism in the game; it helped players getting to/through G5. But then G5 and G6 have a different design and are much faster than G4. G4 had many flaws (or better: When G4 was designed no one knew that G5 and G6 were coming and how long the game would last).

come to think of it i don’t think i’ve ever seen anyone mention chat lag as a known issue (separate to the current issue where you simply can’t post in AC at times but GC and veil chat works fine)

It doesn't work anyway. My mate returned, spent a fair bit of time doing a bunch of the return milestones but the rewards were bugged and couldn't be claimed.
Best of all, he couldn't raise a ticket because he was waiting on a response to another bug. He's quit again 😔
Really no good trying to pull people back when they're met with a plethora of bugs to drive them back out the door 🙄
