Scopley have generated close to £700m revenue from STFC. I’d hope they could spend some of that well earnt money on a) platform stability, b) making a game actually function as intended, c) include a system that makes the game fun again, rather than a constant grind and clicking hundreds of buttons across loads of differing menu’s to claim daily stuff. But alas no one actually listens, bugs continue to plague the game, game stability is at an all time low and almost nothing in the game actually takes real strategy bar a small thought process about officers for specific hostiles. Even when strategy might play a role it’s behind a pay wall (you can’t even kill x unless you have y).

Meanwhile I bought the Reliant and I'm still working on maxing it, doing the Outpost loop, maxing the Vindicator, and actively doing the Serene Squall loop. They're bleeding players because they keep releasing content that's not doable (even if it was a couple of hostiles per trip) as we were used to when we started. Now everything released is cranked up to impossible and forcing people to hit down, but still design SMSs assuming you hit your level hostiles. That created multiple hour grinds and frustration on the players end as it's a blatant cash grab to incentivize paying for the new ship. Doing it once a year, fine, but every couple of months you push the same kind of undoable day 1 content, and people get frustrated and give up as the game isn't a fun distraction anymore.

You need a very high level alliance to complete the alliance events even then you also need to complete the solos so that's a huge amount of grind for a currency you get hardly any of that's needed for the research and building and now 1500 for a double pull?
