@heady moon I think part of the non addressed issue with the original COTA closure was the severely impacted ferengi exchange store. ( the the store has some good stuff, but arguably not the variety or loot of old event stores. And let’s face it. It is actually all about the $$$. If you keep buying stuff when the game is broken and STFC treats players with no respect, the game will never get fixed and players will never get respect. Every $ spent says, I’m ok with the way the game is.

Why do certain ships have set warp ranges now? Yesterday my Franklin, Stella, miners, etc. we're fine and today It says warp range 40 for all the ships no matter what system I click on which is a problem when your ship cant reach warp range 40 no matter what crew you put in, rendering my ships useless now.

Over the past few weeks everyone has dumped their Depot tokens, their crests, their artefacts etc etc - and most ppl just dumped their ship upgrades a couple of days ago, as well as fleet commander mats, in specific events for them.
The shelves are empty…
For once you gave advance warning of the event being axed, which ppl can disagree with but at least they were warned… and now you go and put it on again, utterly negating that measure.
If instead you’d announced weeks ago there was to be one final CotA, ppl could have given it a nice farewell, and moved on. Instead, this bait and switch has ppl angry it’s going, and others angry it’s back.
No opportunity missed to anger the player base.

Getting rid of CotA for something else is not a fix to what the issues are. Updating/adding events are not the issues. What is the issue at the top of the list is the lies and the incompetence displayed by so called mods as for taking care of the actual issues.
