Possibly. FWIW it’s a visual effect I’ve never seen before. Different from when an event will show up three times to claim, or when I’ll claim something and nothing shows up. When claiming all in Independent Archives, two rewards popped up and then kept flashing in and out while I couldn’t actively tap anything, and finally disappeared with no indication of other rewards. Hopefully that’s useful info for troubleshooting

its related to the way they changed the mission to require a recall back to base if you repair your ship that killed the hostile it fixes itself

It wasn't a problem though, they coded it that way intentionally. If you watch you can see the behavior in other places, they save a position (not the right one, but a position) and attempt to return the screen to that position. It does this in other places in the game as well.
Edit: what I mean is that it wasn't an unintentional movement. The irritation is unintentional (hopefully), the code was designed to move the screen.

No, thats not the problem. Indeen in some other cases it does jump to the start again AFTER "buying" something/opening a chest. The Bug in the AT Store instead does force a scrollup WHILE you are scrolling down or while doing nothing at all - resulting in that its sometimes not even possible to scroll complete down if you are slow with that, as it jumps back to the start WHILE trying to scroll down. It's tied to some sort of "reposition on action" command. This is not a problem elsewhere, because only you are in your faction store.
The AT data is shared across multiple accounts, so every time anyone who is sharing that data acts, it returns.
So if you claim an item in the AT store, it shows up as an action for everyone in your alliance, not just you.
That's why you also have to exit and re-enter the screen to see updated tasks sometimes, because your entire alliance is acting on the same set of data.

Depends on which loop you're still doing. If you've got a long ways to go for the Rogue loop with the Stella, I think that's more valuable. The Disco skin gives you a really small drip of Lorca, which is less useful these days.

A little feedback based on the stability approach that's being taken. Stop blaming things on your vendors. They're your vendors. You're responsible for them. If one of them walks up to the server and unplugs it and the whole thing crashes, that's your responsibility to manage your vendor. I know that you have very talented people working on this game, but direction and priority of things to address are made at the management level. These are the same people that choose to blame vendors instead of taking responsibility for managing the vendor. By the way, G5 scrapping better not be worse than G4 scrapping I better get value for my G5 ship that I scrap and you should have G6 scrapping on the horizon. I don't really care if you think scrapping upsets your economy. It's been in the game since the beginning and been one of the things to say. my company is working through a Python 3.9 to 3.12 upgrade and there's a lot of work needing to be done there. lots of modules deprecating functions, etc... In addition, my company is also upgrading to Django versions so there is more stuff that needs to be worked through as well. Hopefully, STFC is upgrading similarly.
