convert old (non usable credits/items) to lat ? at player discretion .. or convert to current event credits
** note yes this last one will give a huge boost .. but then again it wil also get rid of database objects that slows down the game .. so both sides win

Great, the VGER Orion at level 69 is impossible to defeat by most level 69s, and what does Scopely do? They reduce the damage you need to do them to finish one of the daily's........sooo basically, it does not resolve the problem. I suppose adjusting the hostiles power is too much cost to them and simply changing the number for the amount of damage you need to do them for 1 of the daily's was way cheaper and easier.

- same problem every time, we're looking into how to fix it but we don't have a clue - > codebase is impenetrable, a total mess, impossible to understand
- problem is lack of server resources - > we say we're looking into it, but really we know what the problem is, it's just too expensive to spin up new AWS instances

Regarding the VGER Orion, I don't recall hearing ANYONE complaining about the daily for dealing a specific amount of damage to the hostile, even if you could neat beat 1, you could repeatedly hit them and complete that daily. The issue was, and was made clear by all the level 69, 70 players, was the VGER Orion was IMPOSSIBLE to defeat except by a small minority of players, or, using a silly tactic of trying to get your warship stung by a mantis then bringing it over to the VGER system and beating the Orion. Does anyone at Scopely listen?

nothing has changed. Scoring is as poor as it was. be happy to get score point from whatever after 1 hr or even more. We already lost 2 players in our ally and I guess those will not be the last ones.

Yep, I can defeat 15 to 17 VGER Silent ones at level 69 with one hull, no ship boosts, I can farm level 71 faction hostiles no problem, but fight a level 69 Orion, tried every single crew combo, got rid of FC's and etc, nope, can't beat them unless I have every power creep angle maxed, and there are a couple of players like that. At level 69 I have a 17.6B power cube, basically average power rating for my level, but one player, at level 68, has a 26B cube......that's a lot of primes and power creep, and he can win, 1 hull for 1 Orion hostile.

Honestly, the compensation chest... right now, just having a stable game would be a good start. As for the mid-month update, let's stop pretending. We all understand that it's only there to implement new things in store, prepare for the upcoming Wave & Syndicate passes and the Alliance tournament, and that… unfortunately almost nothing is really fixed (maybe even the opposite).

I'm Ops65 and missed all the power ups from being in alliances etc. Biggest ship is 2bill power. Can't even tackle one of the V'gers in my bracket. And I get nothing for hitting low 🤷♂️

It's a trend Scopely has adopted at this stage to drag out upgrading, going from 70 - 80 is even taking the whales a long long time, the power creeps are going to be drawn out over time, these are what you call the death throes of a dying game
