To be fair to them a bit with this, it does look like it might be more AWS related than bugs, although i wouldnt rule that out too, seems issues with AWS in the US, we found out with the big AWS issues a little while ago that Europe servers connect to the US based AWS ones and so i often wonder if a lot of the base lag we get in Europe is because of that constant need to connect to the US based locations, could be wrong i mean its just my musings on it all over the years

Instead of just the 60-second cooldown timer in the faction store, the exact ship that killed the champion mission hostile needs to be not just **recalled **but also **repaired **again for the same level of champion of mission to be available again in the Augment faction store. Do the people at Scopely really want to make things difficult for players? So many low-level players use Cerritos and Titan-A buffs to do a couple of these in one go at a time, and now you are forcing them to recall and repair the ship if they want to do another one of the same champion level? average players wont even see it because it takes almost 45 seconds to start the mission, kill it, recall it, repair ship and press collect on the rewards. with the lag and all it's almost impossible to see that cooldown for most players. on a PC, sure. but most mobile players wont see it

depends on what bracket you are. finishing specialty loops is the best thing to do in g5, early g6 can grind faction rep and sigma speedups in MU, they are never enough

if you have nothing to do in G4 and below, that means you have camped hard, i mean real hard, like you are sitting at ops40 for 1+ year

In case it helps my fellow 69s. This crew works for me against Orion Interceptors with no buffs, and no messing around with FCs. Metreon cascade and Godsend. One hostile per hull (which is still too difficult for a daily - I blame Scopely).

At ops 71 - I have found that going for a full crit, hull breach, max crit damage crew is the key to doing these horrible Orion V’gers… tried numerous crews suggested here and either failed, or scraped a narrow win but could only manage one kill per hull. So decided to try a crew with out and out damage and can now kill 6/7 per hull. Worth a try for high ops if you are struggling

The difficulty jump is around 66/67, at the point where they expect you to be up to date with research, crews etc. if you are they’re still tough but doable, everyone else is running straight into a wall

Well Joqauin for your ops has some protected cargo as his captains ability and i think Kati can be used in a base cracking crew very early on before better options come.

How does anyone hit the 69 Orions? I've tried just about every crew I've seen recommended, even the "cheese" crew. Nothing works or is even close to working.

At ops 69, use your biggest hull ship (max Rela or Cube T15) with crew of Leslie, Moreau and Chang (or Suder (yes)) with below decks stacked with Wokim, wok Carol, pic Hugh, max Neelix (most important below decks) hull buffs, Paris/wok McCoy. 10 trips and you’re done. No buffs or mantis needed. No need to mess with FCs.

Believe me, I’ve seen research that started as g4, end up requiring g5 uncommon+ material to complete the last 4-6 lvls.
It just varies by the R&D 46+ requirement the g4 research initially unlocked at, as to how many of its lvls end up requiring g5 materials.
