The Signal Observatory is a subspace radio telescope built around a living database of new and legacy transmission technologies. It improves V'ger challenge track payouts and enhances G7 Uncommon station material cost efficiency.

At level 71, it unlocks the Daily V'ger Bounty Challenge for free, allowing commanders to earn 50 Challenge Track Points each day without purchasing the contract from the store.

The building also enhances the V'ger Challenge Track by increasing Challenge Credits and FKR Credits at building levels 20, 30, 40, 60, 70 and 75, with milestone upgrades granting immediate bonus rewards in the Challenge Refinery and increased payouts when the track resets.

Upgrading the Signal Observatory grants Gifts every 10 levels that include shards of the new Prototype Tech, Neural Neutralizer, and Veil Warp Tolls.

Building buffs include increased Base Damage vs V'ger hostiles and increased Critical Damage vs non-Armada hostiles for G5+ FKR ships. Additional buffs include Isolytic Defense vs players for G5+ FKR ships and improved cost efficiency for G7 Uncommon station materials.

Instead of putting EVERYTHING in the Mantis archive and ‘closing’ the Raff, you still have to exchange the huel fragments there in Offis instead of simply putting that shards (by chance) in the archive pull too. The main thing is that the interface remains as cluttered and confusing as possible. Completely nonsensical, it just shows that you don't understand QoL.

I do feel like you probably went up too fast with what you're describing.
Don't let the events force you to move up, there will be plenty of time for you to do that.
Moving up too fast, like you have noticed, has put you at a disadvantage that you now have to work through.
I would focus on acquiring all the specialty ships you are able to do before going any further.
Save faction credits to acquire a faction epic and finish off you research trees, territory is a huge boost.
Then keep up with getting syndicate exp every chance you get by just getting on the LBs that offer them, dont worry about competing for high placement, just get on the board.

I don't necessarily agree. from my own experience, there are quite a few people quitting at that stage(early OPS40's) because they get hit in the face with so much they "have" to do but probably struggle with already, adding even more wouldn't help them. And that OPS51+ content is designed that same annoying way already, a fresh OPS51 won't be able to compete if they aren't quite decent.

The new arcs for lower ops def help them more(but afaik they are quite buggy😬 )
