Incursions is junk. Without a doubt, the worst event of the game. No amount of skill or teamwork or prep can make a difference when the outcome is determined solely by which side has the most part time players who aren’t paying attention to shields or anything else in the game. They usually aren’t even in a real alliance. My server spends a huge amount of time and energy trying to prep for it, and then the whole thing gets thrown by a few players who went off to party and get drunk and forgot to shield on their way out of the house. Not that they care or feel the slightest guilt by it, as they aren’t really team players. The real players who actually support this game are begging Scopely - cancel incursions forever and add it to your gallery of bad ideas. Rank it in first place there.

why some people even raid in server is beyond me these days, its not like the old days when miners were slow and had limited cargo space. a fleet of g5 novas can get you all you need per day in about 2-3hours

if you need sigma crap just move your base into a system and get what you need

scopley should just give us an AI tool for incursion events set auto raid

if ship is popped AI wil auto repair and resume the raids

its called discovery summons, smash and grab have disco in one of your other ships slot, if warp jammed by a mantis use your disco summins to pull out your titan, vengence or krencha

disco summons is a usefull way to pull large rss when a base is hotly contested. cloaked amalgam in hit base then disco it out before anyone can target it. its a short term tool but when a whale base is open during incursions it can get you ALOT of rss

this is completely incorrect lmao the efficient way to use a rift is to rift up your disco then summon other ships as needed to conserve your rift juice since yo uget less supply of it than you do disco juice

Mostly when i raid bases my base is next door, so warping out is never an option more concerned with shield incase im attacked whilst in the middle of a raid.

If system blocked and you got long trips back and forth, using disco summon to get amalgam back faster is a good idea sure.

Ok, so I get we have that horrible base attack event so when I log on to play all my ships need repair. But why is everyone killing me on my daily quests?

Cloaking isn't the issue the problem are all the people waiting when the Cloaking runs out its a huge magnet attracting enemys especially lvl 70+ and that the majority of the alliance is not on the home server 😑

Pvp is the most low iq thing in this game, and it doesn’t help that the netcode is so terrible that you can’t even do smart stuff to annoy the pay to win advantage

“I placed X spot in champions or damage slb” cool, but what was the actual ratio of points gained vs given up? Just because you stayed on line for 20 hours and fought 800 more battles to score 2300 points in champions slb doesn’t make you better than the guy who fought 20 and scored 50th in champions but because they won every battle actually helped their server more and actually scored higher in damage slb.

You can use speedups gained through dailies and gifts, they can be grinded out partially aswell
The warp speed gets a lot better with research, some officers, fleet commanders,...
But not much in this game is instant unless you spend, this is a marathon and not a sprint
I haven't been low ops level in a long time, but if I recall correctly they added in a lot of Field Tasks for lower ops levels to grasp the game better and get some useful rewards in the meantime

You'll probably find the biggest help to be joining a good alliance, usually not a public one.
Alliance mates can help out with questions, armadas,...

There are options to mute players ingame, it's usually the most stress free way of dealing with things
If 500 in early game is a good amount for you that's fine, later game that's 2 seconds of mining so that would create more angry dm's

Good shield discipline goes a long way, but players can only raid you for parsteel, tritanium and dilithium

not sure what did you expect, it's a mobile game, pvp is one of the main drive to progress, compared to most similar games stfc is relatively tame, as long as you actively play, you get resources to protect your base 24/7. You can also improve your miners protected cargo and there is mostly good community which tends to enforce additional rules to make the game playable for most... there are plenty single player games for ya out there 🙂

Not really, it’s just that the older a server gets the more of the active players stop. That will eventually lead to a merger and the server will get a bit more lively again

Small example: the defiant is lore wise one of the most powerful 24th century ships with enough firepower to take on some of the toughest enemies out there. It was designed to fight the Borg. It was however added as a buff ship with a loot bonus against dominion armadas (makes sense, it was fighting the dominion most of the time). Lore wise it would have to be able to fight Borg cubes, which were the pinnacle of power for ops 70s for a long time, while the defiant has less power than an ops 46 ship. It would not make sense in any balancing way

I think Shal'ika is the closest system to use those borg coordinates. They're essentially warp tokens to special systems where you use your voyager scanning ability to discover assimilated borg cubes, which you kill for lots of various faction scout messages.
