Spending lat for speeding up hurts my soul. Yep, MU is great. Discovered I can survive about 91 kills against the MU70s with a tier 6 dauntless, or a longer grind of the 68s, so that helps a lot
Providing my ability doesn’t run out on route to a hostile then two activations per trip against the 68s. Most of the time my ship blows up after the first activation ends as the ability ending doesn’t stop the next planned battle if my ship is already impulsing towards it

My path back in the day was to push to 54, unlock the ops gate on talios and use that as main until the rare. Still a viable plan these days, but if they have a GS31, I'd push that instead.
Relativity works too, but GS is better when you reach the end of that loop.

The Aphelion does have a jump cost, presumably because you get jump drives for all surveys at Syndicate 61.

To me hazards are incredibly unnecessary for armada systems
For normal enemy grinding yeah sure
But sitting in a circle for 20 to 30 seconds having sped the armada up it's about a quarter of my dang hull
I can't run 100 g6 uncommons worth doing then 2 or 3 at a time
