I have to disagree. No one has said one valid reason for them to hold them back. The added information gained from knowing is only positive. I could have seen delaying the release by 12-24 hours to make sure everyone understood the reason they could be cancelled and not glossed over. The Voyager is not a great warship, and the Defiant is slow to get parts for upgrading. If you're planning on blazing into G4 quickly, the Enterprise will get you there but it'll be made obsolete pretty quick

Oh I agree with you completely. It’s exactly like that comp chest I posted above. They cheated us iOS players by changing it to the one comp chest covered everyone even though us iOS players had extra days of the game glitching.

Voyager strengths: Warp range, locating bases, and a good start on some of the isolytic artifacts (although better sourcing came along later)
Voyager weaknesses: poor at combat, several ops locks, expensive to upgrade

saladin used to be the bee's knees because the firing pattern has that big gun going off in round 1. If you're close to the Enterprise, that's where I'd pour my resources. Today's G3 experience gives a lot more mats than it did when I was Ops28 3.5 years ago

Ops29, and the way the game pours out mats for G3... if all you're missing is parts you're unlikely to regret spending the lat for Saladin parts. Between away teams, battlepasses, etc. you'll build that lat back quickly

Gladius and B'rel are short on warp range, which will be an issue for you as you roll into G4. The epic ships are the way to go (and the Enterprise is the most long-lived of them because of the shield regen)

Enterprise has shield regen as a ship ability, so you don't need Spock. If you've got Janeway unlocked, she's a great captain w/ Kirk as a sidecar (Janeway diverts damage to the shields, and Kirk's morale regens them)
